The defendants are all black.
Lol, that's like murdering a vending machine stocker so you can take all the snacks.

Then I shall wish death upon you because you disagree with me.

Given the fact that morals are subjective, the idea that you should die simply because you disagree is just as valid as everyone else's jeers for death.

Yup
Exploiting a human for their benefits is disgusting, but to do it to 4 people? Are you fucking serious?
I really don't like the idea of the death penalty, but its shit like this that gets me thinking if its actually a very good thing.
and the landlord never slept again
I'm thinking mandatory checks on the tenants from now on. I'd go insane with paranoia thinking my tenants had someone tied up in the basement.
If this woman has been convicted of murder in the past, then, tell me, what is she doing outside of either prison or a coffin?
What are you doing posting?
Since when are janitors and landlords the same?
Noone's gonna rent from there again.
What on the bloody fuck ?
I... I don't even
Wow. That's the most god awful thing...
If this woman has been convicted of murder in the past, then, tell me, what is she doing outside of either prison or a coffin?
Because Philadelphia isn't in Saudi Arabia
Their motives were likely something along the lines of identity fraud, sickening.

I would be checking on them weekly at first, then every other week
that is some pretty heavy shit, man
Four fucking people?
After serving 8 years for murder?
Weston needs a life sentence.
If the 4 people were seriously that disabled (so much so they couldn't work, the article describes them as being like kids) then they would get a massive amount of benefits, so keeping 4 people in the basement means the three of them didn't have to work and had some spare change left over.
Profitable.

Are you sure you're not a wall street banker?
What next, futures trading on patient wellbeing to drive down costs of healthcare?
Sure what they did was wrong, evil, and possibly inhumane, but you should never, ever, wish death on another human being, regardless of your, or their, race, creed, political, social, or religious beliefs.
I can and I will. These people are sociopaths and can't be trusted in society.
Hope the monster gets what he deserves. Good job the janitor found them.
Fuck, I can't even imagine what twisted shit was going through their heads when they thought this was a good idea.
Because Philadelphia isn't in Saudi Arabia
Yeah. Former Soviet Union is more like it.
Lock them in a cell for the rest of their lives and see how they like it
Fuck. The. What.
A slow agonizing death would be too kind for people like this...

he's not justifying it at all, he's just saying that if you did that, you'd get quite a lot of money from it. And to be fair, it does sound like you would get easy money.
Its still a sick thing to do though, no doubt about that!
How do you even think of this?
Person #1: ''Damn, we really need some money.''
Person #2: ''Yeah man, we should get a job.''
Person #3: ''We should chain up 4 mentally ill people in the basement and steal their Social Security checks.''
Person #1&2: ''Great idea!''
I just don't see that conversation happening.
Fuck. The. What.

I propose a jury trial
Maybe we should amend the constitution, throw in a right to live. I don't really see why anyone should die unless they were killed before they were arrested. The only reason to kill someone would be if they're still a danger. It's just revenge.
