3 months left 'till the magic happens, peoples. If this goes through, California's gonna be enjoying a newer standard of recreation, not to mention it'll have a bit more income from all the pot sales. I wonder if Governer Schwartzenegger'll try some if this passes?
Too bad the feds will bust your party up.
BRB moving out of this shitty state
Duuuuuuuude.
Wrong. You have to be 18 to buy weed. And yeah, the same goes for tourists.
this man speaks the truth, you can't enter a coffeeshop if you're <18 I never understood why weed was made illegal, I heard it had to with making clothes from those plants or something, someone can explain?

But with Chinese immigrants came stories of them dirty chinamen luring in white women with opium dens and seducing them. And they couldn't have that, so they banned opium.
3 months from now somewhere in California....
If it does become legalised, what would happen if you smoked weed there legally, then went back to your home state, then so happened to be tested for drugs. What would you say? I smoked it in California so it's k?
Well, there is a VERY big issue.
this man speaks the truth, you can't enter a coffeeshop if you're <18 I never understood why weed was made illegal, I heard it had to with making clothes from those plants or something, someone can explain?
Some guy named Hearst (I believe) had a paper industry and since hemp is a much better resource for making paper and various other products, it threatened his industry, so he used his influence to smear weed in the media, etc. Something to that effect, go google that shit.

Finally, what people do with their own lives should be their decision, same goes to gay marriage. I don't smoke pot, at all, but i think it should be 100% legal.

I'm ok with this
We've had this discussion. If you ban weed you gotta ban alcohol and cigarettes, because they're both equally dangerous, if not more.
That sounds like a good idea. Bad all 3.
I really like how the people against marijuana can't shut the fuck up about how they dislike it. I'm not picking on people doing snus and the like. [editline]08:26AM[/editline]
I don't smoke pot, at all, but i think it should be 100% legal.
This.
That sounds like a good idea. Bad all 3.
Yeah, let's take away more liberties and freedoms and hurt society MORE by encouraging a growing black market. What don't you get? Making things illegal makes them an industry that fuels crime. it doesn't remove the fact it's an industry, it just makes it an illegal one that's far more dangerous in every way.
i'm moving to cali in november
Colorado will follow suit if this passes. My state's a little behind, we recently decriminalized it under an ounce, but I'm hoping it won't take to long for people to realize it's a good idea.

Should you survive it, it leads 100% into harder drugs like heroin and meth right away, and inevitably leads to whoring out one's body just to get the next fix off a bong. If it doesn't kill you instantly, you die in some sketchy weed house with no drywall or flooring, not surrounded by your friends and family but by other tripped out potheads, after the weed takes a slow but devastating toll on your mind and body.
This is too stupid to not be sarcasm.
It's pretty obvious he's joking
I'm dead fucking serious. Got my info off the very reliable above the influence site.
Holy shit California just legalize it and make an industry.

I'm interested to see what happens as a result of this. I've been tempted to at least TRY pot a time or two, but company drug tests have prevented me from doing so for fear of losing whatever work I can find. (I hear it helps people who have trouble focusing)
