since when did the ability to profit determine how good of a person you were?
I never said it made him a good person.
Steve Jobs: Philanthropist and innovator. Steve Jobs: Greedy, egocentric asshole. Steve Jobs: Couldn't possibly have been anything in the middle.
Wait how is he a Philanthropist? What did he donate to?
Putin killed Jobs via radiation positioning for Obama, like Litvenko (?) calling it now
How is wanting to create more business in the US a bad thing?
Right now, the current regulations are basically forcing some companies to outsource work to China and other foreign countries.
Right now, the current regulations are basically forcing some companies to outsource work to China and other foreign countries.
regulations like minimum wage?
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/27/1318051548046.png/ :U
What a lovely addition.
This biography seems to be revealing Jobs as a totally greed-driven piece of shit. Why would the President take business suggestions from someone that runs massive sweatshop factories in China?
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/27/1318051548046.png/ :U
While I do get it, I though that the world reacted to it mostly because it was the first time a decent tablet became affordable.
While I do get it, I though that the world reacted to it mostly because it was the first time a decent tablet became affordable.
No, the world is just stupid. They see shiny, they buy shiny. Must be shiny.
Let's be fair guys, he did create the iPod. Everyone I know has an iPod, the turn table wheel is the icon for the iPod. I mean hot damn, look at that sexy being raised by all his glory. Being showered in honour and trust whilstother MP3 companies (who were generic and edgy as all fuck) cried themselves to sleep with their shit audio and storage space. The iPod is the only thing I'll remember apple did a fuckload for the world, other then that nothing.
Storage space, dude, Archos was pumping out mp3 players with HDDs before Apple
Storage space, dude, Archos was pumping out mp3 players with HDDs before Apple
But that's the thing, who the fuck is Archos.
regulations like minimum wage?
Regulations like making sure there isn't fecal matter in the water?
Wait how is he a Philanthropist? What did he donate to?
Himself.
Come on guys, there's nothing wrong with Steve Jobs that reincarnation won't cure.
I never really liked him to begin with, so that's not true to me. I only respected the fact that he was a billionaire. And I liked MJ well before he died.
Ditto. Michael Jackson made fucking awesome music, and the claims that he was a pedophile were never proven (in fact, I think I remember a few articles about the boy making the claim because his parents wanted to make money of him). I have however never really liked Steve Jobs. In the same way that most people don't like the creators of MLP. I mean, he created one of the most annoying and obnoxious fanbases on planet earth. Hell no, this is reason to celebrate.
Wait how is he a Philanthropist? What did he donate to?
He started the Stephen P. Jobs foundation. Apple is by far the largest contributor to the Product Red foundation. It is widely believed that he was the anonymous donator that donated 150 million to the Hellen Diller Cancer Center at the University of California. Plus, given his very private nature it wouldn't be surprising if he did do other philanthropy privately. Public philanthropy was never his thing, but that didn't mean he didn't give privately. A lot of people don't realize that he only took a $1 a year salary from Apple and lives in a fairly modest home.
DEATH TO JOBS! [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline] fucking late

I read the title as "Steve Jobs Warned President Obama of One Term Pregnancy" And then I asked myself: The hell? How is that bad?
But money going to the RED Foundation was company money, it did not come straight out of his pockets.
Unlike what Billy G did. [editline]22nd October 2011[/editline]
But that's the thing, who the fuck is Archos.
A great company that doesn't believe in aggressive marketing and the shotgun approach. Instead specializes in making actually great devices that are worth the money.
Why can i imagine the next thing coming out of steve jobs being "Steve jobs killed Gaddafi" or something like that.
STEVE JOBS IS EVERYWHERE PLEASE HELP ME
Regulations like making sure there isn't fecal matter in the water?
to be fair, even with regulations, we still practically have that already happening. So it'd be more like... Fecal matter for water.
to be fair, even with regulations, we still practically have that already happening.
As long as it's safe for human consumption and doesn't taste like shit (literally) then it's probably good enough.
As long as it's safe for human consumption and doesn't taste like shit (literally) then it's probably good enough.
Yes, but knowing even todays regulations not going totally right, it'd have bleach in it too. A lot of tap in America is pretty shit.
You guys know that gates was an asshole to his employees too, right? He would rant and rave during meetings about the incompetence of others.
