You guys know that gates was an asshole to his employees too, right? He would rant and rave during meetings about the incompetence of others.
I don't doubt he's an asshole to some degree, but he has a big heart for sure.
His dream is that every man and woman has a cheap, easy to use computer in their home.

At least he donates lots.
Yes, but knowing even todays regulations not going totally right, it'd have bleach in it too. A lot of tap in America is pretty shit.
Guess I should be happy with the fact that the only problem with the tap water in my area, is that it's hard

You are right, but its still at least something. And hey, maybe I'm biased, using W7 happily and all that. But its still something I agree with, despite the fact he has some bad intentions with the good ones. But of course he'd want all of them with microsoft, he made it.

I admit, I live near buffalo so I have a luxery of very clean water, but there are many areas with undrinkable water. Bottled water is worse than tap here, other areas, if you don't drink it bottled, and/or filter it, it tastes bad and has funny effects.

While I agree he was a douche bag and misanthrope, he wasn't all bad.
But yes the media worship of him is disgusting.
Let's be fair guys, he did create the iPod. Everyone I know has an iPod, the turn table wheel is the icon for the iPod.

I mean hot damn, look at that sexy being raised by all his glory. Being showered in honour and trust whilstother MP3 companies (who were generic and edgy as all fuck) cried themselves to sleep with their shit audio and storage space.
The iPod is the only thing I'll remember apple did a fuckload for the world, other then that nothing.
Yes he created it nobody else at Apple including designers and engineers did any work they were all on vacation and he just made it himself.
An artist who gave a lecture at my school literally said the Macbook was made by steve jobs like holy fuck
hes a ceo
I like how all the people who defend have user agents of Apple products, like seriously it's ok, you like Apple products, that doesn't make the men who designed the machines and software we are typing on Jesus.

(like saying that Bill Gates personally programmed every version of Windows)

exactly. I mean they don't usually do things like Bill, but honestly do you ever say "i got the new version of windows thanks bill gates for making it"
it's idiocy

it's a double standard and it's stupid
When the very first iPod was released what did it do that no other MP3 player did?
Legitimately wondering
because I don't remember hearing jack shit about apple until the iPod
it's funny because people act like steve jobs invented the ipod when in reality he hired a team of people to do it for him
My girlfriends parents worked at Apple during the 80's-90's. They said he was the nicest guy, always smiling, thanking everyone who was working. And they're not Apple supporters, they just worked there. Not buying all the hate on the guy who seemed like a nice bloke.
Maybe he's an Illuminati member?
Steve Jobs was definitely Illuminati.

What because he's going to start selling people apple computers? Well there goes the cheap part, or maybe you want him to sell people computers with linux on? Sure it'll be cheaper but oh whoops you need wine or find a linux copy of a program you want and even then it might not work, so there goes the easy to use part.
In before this turns into an anti-Steve Jobs circlejerk
Sadly, it actually did :v:
oh god whats next
"Steve jobs was Illuminati and caused 9/11"

Or, you know, things like Firefox, Chrome, Libre Office, GIMP, PuTTY, Notepad++, gedit etc.
You know, things that adhere to the F/OSS ideology but are cross platform.
Like most of them...

It's further evidenced by the amount of legal activity that Apple is involved in.
It's well known that most lawyers are in league with Satan.

From what I heard, Gate's wife encouraged him to do that. But it's good for him to do what she suggested.

ur the only one that disagrees with me
why
ur the only one that disagrees with me

Because I like Apple. Who knows, maybe it was Jobs' idea for the iPod.

But the iPod was awfuly implemented...
Honestly he's not a fucking prophet
If I said Obama would get a second term, would I be on the news?
