Well I'm pretty sure that goldfish were around before pokemon, I'm just saying it's not like someone found a mouse that chewed on electric wiring and shocked other mice. It's just a fish. The story is cool, but not pokemon related.
30 pound golden carps aren't very common, even in fictional media.
So that's what happened to my goldfish when I flushed him 7 years ago... Maybe he wasn't dead after all...
I thought it was literally gold for a second, like shiny Magikarp :downs:
giant carp? dwarf fortress is totally screwed now
Dead ? He released it.
I misread it. :ohdear:
He's going to die when it evolves.
this is dumb congrats
Magicarp used Splash!
The attack was not very effective.
:D Brings back memories.
Oh shit. Maybe Giant rats aren't so far fetched. :ohdear:
i want one
Meh. I've seen goldfish/carp like that in 18 Mile Creek, NY... During spawning season (April'ish) you'll see a whole school of them come up the river, and spawn there.
Not only that... In Lake Erie you can attempt to drop a fishing like outside of the General Mills factory, and you'll catch carp, and catfish relatively that size.
Also... Relevant to an above poster(mike). About... 2002? My friends dad use to work at the General Mills factory, and he would allow us to go in there with pellet guns, and clean out rats the size of cats. Trust me. Rats get big, and it takes at least 3-10 pellets to drop them.
