It says "there havent been any contact made", as in deliberately, not "not responding".
It could mean either as it's written, but it really doesn't imply one or the other, just that no contact was established.
Truck is from Poland, Truck driver and Co-Driver have not been responding to calls since 16.00

They might be both dead.
2016 has been a shit year so far.
Can we fucking shut up about this already? Holy shit. We're all on the same earth, we all see what's going on around us, and it isn't going to magically change the day we decide its a new year. WE GET IT, the world is shitty right now. Are people going to start posting "2017 is gonna suck" every time bad news is posted after Dec. 31? Because I'm pretty over seeing the same contributionless bullshit post in every SH thread.
I find it pretty sad i immediately assumed it was muslim related after i heard of it and guess what, it was.

Source?
-snip-
Source?
When the boss last heard from the driver he said he has to wait a day in berlin before he can get offloaded and he said that he`s in a "muslim district". They interviewed the company owner on polish tv a few moments ago.
Well that is terrible but something is not adding up and it has to do with the dead body being in the Polish truck.
I guess the Polish truck driver got murdered by the Islamic terrorists and he left the body in the cab when he went on his rampage. But that is just my take on it.

That's not a really a source, that's an assumption.
what's wrong with just saying "truck runs over people, unconfirmed cause, updates as more information comes through" instead of outright speculating an accident?
does everything have to be a fucking conspiracy theory nowadays? speculating that it was an accident is pretty fucking neutral because that's what the vast majority of these situations are. get out of whatever bubble you're living in, and accept that not everyone's out to push an agenda, please
I mean, how could you tell this was an attack instantly when there was a similar enough incident in Scotland that was caused by negligence?
I'd rather have them say it was an accident until it was confirmed an attack rather than say it was an attack, cause a panic, only for it to turn out to be negligence or an accident.
But anyway, I hope the truck driver never sees the light of day again.
This is shitposting considering it was already mentioned that 9 people had died.
What was the point in posting this?

Christ, I posted this before it was confirmed terrorism.
Get off my case man, it's getting old.

what majority of situations?
when was the last time an articulated lorry accidentally drove through a market at over 40mph?
get out of your bubble and stop with your accident agenda!
Just a few bad apples they say.

Everyone who has anything important to say in this, officials, police, criminologists, is saying that people please should not speculate and draw conclusions without any evidence so I really don't get what you're trying to say here.

i mean there was that other one that was posted in this very thread? in a post you quoted just last page? try reading the things you're replying to, for fucks sake
and by "majority of situations" i'm obviously talking about car crashes
Just a few bad apples they say.
Nice comment, not at all filled with shitty implications. Maybe be more straight forward about what the heck you're talking about next time.
I think it would have had a special mention if the Polish company tried to contact but failed, so I think it is safe to assume that they didnt try.
Though whatever, we know the truck was hijacked by now.

One is dead, other is safe.. I suppose, I recall distantly reading "polish driver interviewed" a few minutes ago in a feed.
New info about this:
According to this
http://www.kn-online.de/News/Aus-der-Welt/Nachrichten-Aus-der-Welt/Mutmasslicher-Anschlag-in-Berlin-Verdaechtiger-festgenommen
his wife tried to contact the driver and couldn't. Doesn't say anything about who did it of course

yeah because most car crashes are exactly the same as a lorry driving through a market. silly me.

only the 4 previous posts knew but you were still in denial.
yeah because most car crashes are exactly the same as a lorry driving through a market. silly me.
I mean in my post I literally showed that a similar incident turned out to be negligence and not an attack, but you used that as an excuse to attack me despite I posting it well before it was confirmed terrorism.
Stop being so aggressive and arguing in bad faith. It doesn't help your argument in the slightest.
Oh boy.
Poor Europe.
Speedy recovery to those injured by the lunatics.

Tagesschau reports now that the the owner of the company tried calling his cousin but couldn't reach him (according to an interview with TVN 24 which is a Polish TV channel).
Should really wait before calling this an islamist attack altough that's what most likely will end up being.
Also, threads about incidents like these always bring out the xenophobes out of the woodworks, pretty interesting to watch.
At what terrorist-attack interval do we admit that there's a massive fucking problem?
Once a month, a week,
once a day?
"accident agenda"
"agenda"
Sad or hilarious? I cant decide.
the same posters with the same old rhetoric, wrong as usual.

Don't worry! They already have plans in check.
Replace the good folks with these people! See, it all works out!

On that note, this is happening on German Twitter too.
Interestingly, they are being increasingly opposed by people calling them out on baseless speculation and unjustified hate.

They didn't admit it either when we had about one terrorist attack a week for a while earlier this year, so it has to be bi-daily for those people to finally admit how big of a problem we have in Europe right now. The current establishment politicians have really shat the bed in the last few years with this.
This is terrible.
My condolences go to the families and loved ones of the people who died.
I hope the injured recover soon,
well I mean if we're gonna go hard on that we gotta kick out neo-nazis as well
and communists
anyone who's thoughts differ vaguely from 'Western freedoms and values' would also have to be kicked out, no?
There is a huge difference between expressing communist or nazi opinions and carrying out a FUCKING ATTACK!!
And here comes the hard Christian right
I don't see them anywhere.
Stop criticizing Christianity for no reason.
Is this hostility really needed
