• Porn belongs in the classroom, says Danish professor

Well, it depends on what kind of pornography they are going to show educationally of course. I wouldn't let my kids watch "Anal Cum Sluts #9" as much as I wouldn't let them watch Enemy At the Gates. When using movies for educational purposes, I remember that we were shown great moves that we had to analyze. I remember watching Goodbye Lenin, Downfall, Into The Wild and other great movies and getting a lot out of it. Tasteful erotica selected by someone competent could be used in the same way during sexual education, so I see nothing wrong with it.
that awkward moment when no one can reply seriously because no one on FP has ever gotten laid [editline]16th March 2015[/editline] for real though it's generally a lot to do with unrealistic expectations for penis size/body image/human stamina working off of your avatar it's kind of like how in anime highschoolers are all quirky and exciting and involved in all sorts of neat things (lolsakurasou) but real life highschool is basically completely nothing like that and filled with ordinary people doing ordinary shit
I never thought I'd actually see someone compare life to anime, unfortunately proven wrong.
I read the title and was like 'yeah no' but after reading text, I do think that is a fair enough and well thought out reason. Sex education is something I've always felt that needs to be handled better since I don't recall consent (as well as another word being with c) ever being mentioned once. Apparently quite a few people I've spoken to agree with me, which is pretty bad However, I do still think it'd be a bit odd to be like 'okay guys, let's watch some porn, here's NOT what sex is like'
if you die in bdsm you die in real life

It peaked at 7.
Gotta stop the Danish kids from fapping to beast-porn somehow! Showing them good vanilla porn and get them addicted to that in the meantime before animal sex becomes illegal.
Our health books were enough to convince the young me how real sex is different from porn, and they didn't even get into it that much.
imagine in the newly reformed sex ed class. The teacher passes out dildos to every student to teach them about it. And then later on teacher happens to show their homemade videos. much boner confusion was made that day.
They passed the dildos out in our class to practice sticking condoms on them :v:
It's probably because I'm a massive lazy shitlord, but if I need to lay off some steam I'll beat it and be done with it. Sex actually requires effort to obtain and then you have to deal with the person you fucked one way or another and I just can't be asked.
This is why I only watch amateur porn, that way I have realistic expectations when it comes to the real thing.
Less than 10 minutes and not too much moaning?
I dunno about straight sex but with gay sex it's pretty much exactly the same as porn, minus the magically appearing condoms. Those you have to put on yourselves.
Lol, liberalism Glad my kids won't go to Denmark schools
Yeah totally sex-positive thinking is a joke. You're acting as if puritanical values have done America so much good, you know with these couples waiting for marriage and not being able to satisfy each other.

Part of being entirely sex positive is respecting people's choices, whether it's to be promiscuous or chaste. Shaming, repression, obsession, and skewered views of sexual relationships are what's bad. It's hypocritical to shame the chaste.

Which definitely need to go.

Sex is a human right.
-snip, im an idiot-
I wish the United States would become more culturally progressive, especially towards things like sex. The biggest thing pushed in Sex Education is abstinence; which in theory makes sense; IE, I won't get pregnant if I do not have sex; however, the issue is not so black and white. Psychologically we are driven to have a desire to reproduce; it's a basic instinct of all living things. So I don't understand why Sex Education Curriculum will not stop pushing abstinence as the most important thing when it comes to sex. Education is first and foremost important thing. We need to educate and inform pre-teens, teens and young adults. The taboo of sex and its "effects" on you social standing needs to be stopped. There's a strong need for people to understand the differences between pure sexual gratification and passionate emotional sex. Our youth have been so jumbled up on the meanings of love, lust and pure enjoyment. They also need to understand that none of those things are bad reasons; what most important is how they respond to lustful engagements as well as passionate romantically involved ones.
