@Everyone talking about using nukes on it: You'd shatter it, what's easier to dodge, a bullet or buckshot? And it would fuck up any other space craft near by with the radiation.

How about we make a giant ball of chavs/hicks and send them off with a rocket to hit the Asteroid? Thus fixing two problems.
