DADT needs to stay until the UCMJ is changed to make sodomy not a punishable offense, otherwise removing it will only cause more issues.
i dont feel that we are secure as a nation when our armed forces cant deal with living with each other.
It's amazing how this country is run by a 41% minority.
What the hell are you talking about? If you are claiming that I'm bullshitting on having a gay uncle with a boyfriend that supports DADT, I can show you a picture that shows that this is indeed the truth. [editline]10:17PM[/editline] Or someone who actually experiences DADT and doesn't see what the fuss is about made an educated decision based off of his own experience. I don't quite understand why whiny liberal bastard children feel the need to attempt to fight for something that doesn't regard them whatsoever.
Once again, lol. I am gay. This effects me as it does thousands of soldiers. Qualified individuals losing their jobs because they are outed for the simple act of being in love with someone of the same sex. It's a terrible law based on misinformation about homosexuals from years long gone. It is simply a homophobic law which in one more way pushes the 'homosexuals are bad' agenda farther. People serve their country, go through terrible atrocities, and when the state finds out they're gay, they get ejected from their position. They lose their income and they essentially lose their lives. People defend the law by saying 'sex has no place in war' but what they forget is that sex is a primary motivator in the human psyche. They have these Victorian principles and they think that all these straight soldiers (who never engage about talks of sex harhar) will be bombarded with faggots coming in to the military. What they don't understand is that queers that want to be in the military are already in the military. Not to mention straights being ejected for this policy is almost non-existent. That's because heterosexuals don't need to be cautious of the military finding out they like to fuck members of the opposite sex, but for homosexuals even discreet ways of communication are subject for expulsion. Being anti-DADT is being pro liberty and personal freedom.
yes that is exactly what i am implying. sgtcr4zyalt explained what dadt really is. this is why you were like the dumb women who wanted to end women sufferage because it sounded like something that it wasnt.
I don't know why you are so daft, but I'm quite sure that if my GAY uncle's boyfriend supports Don't Ask Don't Tell I would logically support it as well.
is your GAY uncle's boyfriend in the army? because if he is and i found out his name and revealed that he is gay with this proof then he would be kicked out. that's how fucked this policy is
