To be fair they made the Wehrmacht do most of the war work while they did most of the genocide work.
Does that somehow make it better, or...?
Yes, because they don't actually hold facist aryan views, nor have that killed people for them.
You mean he's gonna commit suicide?
most politicians have people handle their campaign "advertising". trump probably had no clue till it came out, and it's too late. and if he did know, then I have more reason to fear him becoming president.
Does that somehow make it better, or...?
A little.
I know a Jewish Wehrmacht reenactor and a couple of black Confederates.
I mean it's still a major fuckup but it's not as bad as if they were actual Waffen SS.
I really hope Trump doesn't win. With all that shit that went down about his Mexico comment, people still want him to be president.
Also, "Make America great again?" Senator Armstrong you ain't!
He won't win national, the entire point of primaries is to bring candidates closer and closer to the center as the primary goes on.
TO BE FAIR when the SS got down to business they got fucking results
must be why they won
As if Trump needed to convince anyone of his failure.
Seriously, how is this cunt even getting support? I would rather vote for fucking Skeletor.
donald trump is a joke candidate. do not even consider him being in the race, because he's not.
vote for fucking Skeletor.
Hillary Clinton scares the shit out of me dude, no way.
TO BE FAIR when the SS got down to business they got fucking results
That's contestable actually. There were Elite SS divisions, but there were also Elite Wehrmacht divisions. Some Wehrmacht commanders critisized the Waffen-SS for being over-zealous and taking unnecessary casualties as a result. Some SS divisions, particularly later in the war, were made up of foreign conscripts and teenagers.
TO BE FAIR when the SS got down to business they got fucking results
As long as the business is racial purging I guess.
At actual combat? Nah.
holy shit Trump is such a fucking clod
holy shit Trump is such a fucking clod
Yeah, he should really learn how to use photoshop that fucking tool.
Say it with me: "President Donald Trump"
He's blowing up on Facebook too. Apparently if he "wins", he will be the best Christian representative in government business. Bullshit! Not only is he missing the point about being a Christian if we go by his views, but he's acting like there wasn't a good Christian representative in high places.
I really hope whoever made the ad knew exactly what they were doing and is working from the inside to fuck with trump's campaign
I think that's unnecessary, ol' Trumplestiltskin can fuck up his campaign by himself.
And my mother is convinced this man will make the perfect president.
i would rather vote for fucking Skeletor.
Ah yes, his campaign struck a chord with the voters when he promised not to kill everyone if elected
Not like trump who just wants...what does he want besides no Mexicans?
i feel that using ss is actually a good indicator of what his policies would be, such as a final solution to the mexican question
Yeah man they were fucking machines at genocide. Truly a quality to be envied.
As with just about anything, some of the SS divisions did some fine ass combat work(usually until they were all dead) while others went around being the dirty nazis we know and love. :v:
I love when that happens.
Last 9th may (victory over nazi Germany parade and holiday) there were around 20 cases of people accidentally using nazi stuff in patriotic ads.
It's funny to no end.
Yes, because they don't actually hold facist aryan views, nor have that killed people for them.
I disagree.
What those particular people believe in their heads is irrelevant to what they represent in that uniform, in that photo. Which is racism and genocide.
yes? have you seen their stories?
Yeah and they seem fine.
In fact, I use them as a source for SH articles more than any other site.

Reenactors don't represent the views of the people they're portraying, and it's unfair to the actors to claim that. That's like saying actors playing Nazis in a movie are bad people for portraying Nazism, or that Danny Trejo is a horrible person because he often plays the bad guy.

i feel the key difference is we wouldn't have known they were actors until rangergxi said something
It's baffling that the Donald is at the top of the polls for the Republicans. This is a man who claimed he'd build a great wall across the southern border and make Mexico pay for it.
can't spell donald without the don.
To be fair this could have happened to any campaign. I doubt Mother Jones would even report it if this happened to Bernie Sanders.
Because Bernie Sanders doesn't wake up every morning and shoot himself in the foot

But you speak the truth

Then again, it kind of says something that a large chunk of our country actually believe thats viable.. THEN AGAIN, half of this country couldn't point out Canada on a globe..

I don't think Scorpious is saying the actors are bad people, I think he's saying the fact that they're reenactors in the photo doesn't matter, because the point of a reenactor is to represent and symbolize the soldiers they reenact. They could be paid actors on a sound stage, or completely faked CGI images, and it wouldn't make any difference- the important part is that Trump's campaign is using imagery of the SS, not exactly how that imagery was produced.
Trump president pls
