well fuck you man, explain how im being stupid here. If someone says that a group of people tend to be like x based on their life experience how is it being racist.
"black people are more violent than white people, just look at the prisoner population" do you not see how that's racist? Saying that this racial group has XYZ behavioral characteristic is racist because there are no behavioral differences between the shitty quack racist pseudoscience concept of 'races' [editline]26th January 2012[/editline] you can say things like "aboriginals tend to be more violent than Whites because they are marginalized via a range of really racist processes in Australia and thus tend to be poorer, less educated etc.", but without that caveat, it's racist
I am using the word tend not are, there's kind of a big difference between using those words, Im saying it in the way that a group of people are generally more likely to have certain characteristics rather than saying all of them are like that which is different and not racist in my opinion. Like when I was in south africa visiting family we were all told to try stay out of predominantly black areas as a matter of safety because its more likely crime will be committed in those areas. [editline]26th January 2012[/editline] Yes there would be no behavioural differences in races if they were all brought up the same, except different races tend to live in different areas and are brought up differently to other races because of that which means there are behavioural differences.
in other news people with confederate flags on their cars are most likely to be rednecks
you can say things like "aboriginals tend to be more violent than Whites because they are marginalized via a range of really racist processes in Australia and thus tend to be poorer, less educated etc.", but without that caveat, it's racist
Are you fucking kidding me?

"Racism Bullshit Scare" - Letting Mass Immigration happen since the 1980's
This isn't racism. I feel poorly about the Aboriginals, that's because they tend to be smelly and violent, not because I believe in white superiority.
Yeah shit, well I guess they just started turning that way on their own just coincidentally after the colonisation.
"Racism Bullshit Scare" - Letting Mass Immigration happen since the 1980's
Go die in a war.
The sad thing is is that in Britain, myself and many others immediately assume that somebody displaying a UK/England flag is a jingoistic racist. The flags have become so synonymous with the racist skinhead attitudes shown by the EDL and BNP that people immediately make that association.
Yeah shit, well I guess they just started turning that way on their own just coincidentally after the colonisation.
read up a little on aborigines. http://www.ourdecline.com/cooray/mabo/chap35.htm they were violent long before they ever saw white people.
people who have flags on their cars are bogans (possibility for racism). end of story.
You can almost say welcome to Sweden. If you show the swedish flag or sing the national anthem public, except on sport events or national day, you are a racist.
racial stereotyping is not racism sorry to burst your bubble
this is an utter load of shit
Every single Australia Day, there is a national debate about racism or whether our flag should be the Aboriginal flag. Every single one.
Every single Australia Day, there is a national debate about racism or whether our flag should be the Aboriginal flag. Every single one.
Seriously? I never noticed.
Some things are racial stereotyping, like aboriginals are all alcoholics, petrol sniffers, whatever. Other things like acknowledging studies about lower alcohol tolerance in indiginous populations and despite there being less people who consume alcohol in indiginous communities, those who do consume at far higher levels. These are more realities and problems to face, just like the rest of the population has issues with skin cancer and more alcohol related violence (23-73% of assaults involve alcohol).

They're pretty much drinking themselves to death.
people who have flags on their cars are bogans (possibility for racism). end of story.
Not necessarily.
Wow, most Australians in this thread are really reinforcing the stereotype of Australians being racist.
Go back to ya fucking country if you think aussies are being racist for supporting there own country...
NO!
Wow, most Australians in this thread are really reinforcing the stereotype of Australians being racist.
Yeah, funny/sad isn't it? "I'm not racist, but..."
When in doubt, play the race card, the fuck is wrong with you people, nationality /=/ race.
it's political correctness gone mad i say! next they'll say we can't write "GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY ABORIGINAL SCUM" in excrement or else we'll offend them.
Displaying the flag over here is associated with nationalism which is in turn associated with racism and the BNP It's kind of stupid
When in doubt, play the race card, the fuck is wrong with you people, nationality /=/ race.
uh, what does /=/ mean? anyway uh race is a made-up thing and the definition of racism:
The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief
that still fits so uh take your race card and go past start, don't collect 200 [editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
Displaying the flag over here is associated with nationalism which is in turn associated with racism and the BNP It's kind of stupid
better than what it used to be which was violent brutal imperialism. i mean each of the actual countries within the UK have their own flags so it's not really a national flag.
It's not sick. How can you say it's sick when it's true? All of what I'm saying is true, and perhaps I'm a racist for it, sue me. I'm not posting here saying a whole bunch of slangs against them, cause I'd be banned, and I'm not that type of person.
no, you're a worse type of person because you're informed of, and unapologetic for, your racism instead of merely being oblivious and ignorant. [editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
Every australia day you get these dumbasses claiming the whole country is racist, hating on australian culture because some random idiot shouted an ethnic slur, and making ridiculous proposals like making the aboriginal flag the australian flag. NOBODY LIKES YOU cunt
read the article please, because I don't think you actually did. [editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
Some things are racial stereotyping, like aboriginals are all alcoholics, petrol sniffers, whatever.

A opinion trying to counter another opinion from two different observations. People I see or know who usually swear the most have a low vocabulary because it is the only words they can think of when to express themselves instead of mustering other words that could be better and more expressive. Stephen Fry says PC's are dull, unimaginative and horrible computers while Macs are superior in every way; are you going to agree with him on that? More educated people usually have better vocabs. That means they articulate sentences, arguments, and moments of anger differently. They grew up in different households (many times) that didnt tolerate swearing. This doesnt mean its the rule by any stretch, but I would argue on the whole its the case. Swearing is wonderful as he says but not if you over do it. Intelligence was a poor word, more ignorant of language I meant. I come from that working class background and me and just about everyone else swore in every sentence or at any possible moment. The more I learned about the English language the less I swore and moved away from saying fuck or shit or bollocks in every possible thing I said. Its very sad when you discover saying cunt whenever possible has become Australian culture. Lets not forget that cunt means vulgar. A woman's vagina, you can turn it into your own little expression if you want but it still means exactly that.
