This is fucking ridiculous. I hope whoever is responsible for this gets what is coming to them.
Most of Florida is more backwards than even the worst parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisana, etc.
no, not really
Jesus LunchboxOfDoom is like the Gmod_fan77 of Prisons.
LunchboxOfDoom, I assume you're an alt? [editline]12:05AM[/editline] and apparently he enjoys cannibalism: http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=23194065&postcount=2 why am I not surprised
I'd be more concerned about the fact that he's using a child's ass.
"Hey look, suicidal prisoners. Let's put them into tiny ass cages, make them wear hotpants, and deny them entry to bathrooms. THAT'LL STOP THEM FROM WANTING TO KILL THEMSELVES"
no, not really
the little bit of the south I haven't lived in, I've at least traveled to. it's just as bad. Especially in the panhandle.
maybe a child's ass has less hair on it?
How old are you? Nice Cyrus the Great icon, BTW.
nice dodging the question also thanks
the little bit of the south I haven't lived in, I've at least traveled to. it's just as bad. Especially in the panhandle.
so certain areas you traveled to = the majority of florida? and the panhandle is basically the southern culture. but most of florida isn't like those shithole states you mentioned.

That... pretty much matches the definition of sociopath. And stop using that opinion bullshit, it's not an opinion that people shouldn't have to piss in their fucking cell. And the bold part especially, do you not understand the concept of justice? Do you not know what prisons are for? They're not some corral to put criminals in and treat them like animals, making them worse than they ever were. Most criminals are going to get out of prison at some point, do you think they're gonna be well adjusted members of society after shit like this?
Lunchbox, how would you feel if you messed up and were sent into a box, with your only source of being relieved was a tiny cage's corner? And, on top of that, wearing ridiculous clothing? Insult to injury. (Actually, I feel it would be best for you to find out yourself.) It's cruel. Take just a few steps back and prisons would be worse than medieval dungeons.
Lunchbox. You are not a psychologist. You have no idea what you are talking about. You should really Stop Posting

LA gets worse every day
These are convicts in prison. That includes rapists, murderers who didn't get stuck on death row, child molesters, arsonists, you name it.
Even though I think basic human rights should extend to all manner of prisoner, severity of the crime regardless, still I have to comment on what you said here with the fact that not everyone in prison is an evil violent offender. There are people that are in for drug charges or any assortment of vice laws, those that could messed up just once with theft, maybe out of desperation or who knows why. Heck, even repeat offenders, the kinds that would still never actually physically hurt anyone. Either way, a lot of prisoners are just like anyone else, just having made a mistake. What you said here is no justification.
So you don't care about people with mental health issues being abused and treated like animals just because they're in prison. That... pretty much matches the definition of sociopath.
Not really. I'm not antisocial. I don't think ALL people should be treated like animals, just the ones that have done wrong to another person who has done nothing.
And stop using that opinion bullshit, it's not an opinion that people shouldn't have to piss in their fucking cell.
By that line of thought, they shouldn't have to use the provided toilets in their cells to begin with lol.
And the bold part especially, do you not understand the concept of justice?
I'm wondering if you do. I do. Too many people toss words around like this too loosely anymore, just because it sounds good.
Do you not know what prisons are for? They're not some corral to put criminals in and treat them like animals, making them worse than they ever were.
They are there to incarcerate those who have done wrong from those who have done nothing wrong- the innocents. With that said, I am no criminal, I am an innocent person, I do show regard for society's laws and other innocent people. And I intend to stay that way, especially because of the punishments and hell prison holds. Sorry to disappoint you.
Take just a few steps back and prisons would be worse than medieval dungeons.
Because we all know that solitary confinement of this nature = Medieval torture... Since when do prisons regularly torture their inmates? They don't. With that said, prison is no happy place to be. As far as suicidal inmates are concerned, it really wouldn't surprise me if they've all considered it at one point or another because of the conditions. But again they chose to break the law and they wound up there as a result. Don't expect me to cry for them... especially since my taxes go to paying for their existence, which in the case of life in prison inmates, is quite honestly wasteful.
Lunchbox.
There are people that are in for drug charges or any assortment of vice laws, those that could messed up just once with theft, maybe out of desperation or who knows why.
Yes, there are these kinds of people too. We have to build our basis for this work on the grounds of the majority's backgrounds, not each and every individual for their specific case. That's just not feasible.
Heck, even repeat offenders, the kinds that would still never actually physically hurt anyone.
But they have committed an offense again and have shown no respect for the law, the very thing that keeps society together. How many people in your family can you name off the top of your head who have been or are convicted felons? Hell- people you associate with? I have none, hope you don't. Thankfully, you aren't one of these people. Neither is anyone else posting here. As of right now, anyway. It's been common sense and self-discipline that's kept you all out of trouble and (hopefully) out of prison. And regard for the law and other people like yourselves: innocents. Be thankful.

And bold 1: You're an idiot if you think it would be a deterrent, always keep in mind no one commits a crime expecting to go to jail. And they're obviously not rational, right minded people, and they're not gonna be even more so after this, you think they're gonna consider "hmm I might go back to jail" before they commit a crime? Bold 2: Ok, you obviously don't understand our justice system. We don't punish the majority and go "oh well" when the minority gets fucked over. why do you think innocent people going to jail is such a big problem? People don't (well reasonable people unlike yourself) don't think that just because 100 bad guys got caught, one good guy going to jail is a-ok.
They will learn or they will face the consequences. That's how simple it is.
Still in the strict law-and-order black-and-white stage of mental development, I see. Don't worry, you'll grow out of it.
There is absolutely nothing I can say to lunchbox that won't simply drag me down to his level so I am done humouring him. He can cling to his juvenile sociopathic beliefs all he wants, I'll rest assured that he will never be allowed to make decisions regarding the justice system while he holds this absolutely asinine mindset.

Wow, this is just fucked up. Americas prison system as a whole is fucked up, locking someone who had an ounce of pot on them in the same cell as a murder is not going to solve any problems. All this prison system does is make people angry and bitter towards others and fuck over any chance of having a normal life that have after being released. Prisons should focused more on rehabilitation then punishment. Norway's prisons have better living conditions then most other countries and they have one of the lowest re-offense rates in the world.

Give it up Sigma-Lambda, some people just don't debate to learn and understand, as a matter of fact, most people treat debating like it's a game of football, a competition sport.
Wow that's kinky.
That's just sick. Guards and policemen make me ashamed of the human race, sadistic bastards.
