I think we're the only nation on Earth that drives on the opposite side of the road to almost everyone else and still insist that they're doing it wrong.
About 1/4 of the world drive on the left, most of those countries being part of the commonwealth past or present. If i recall correctly it dates back to feudal times when people would draw their swords to fight, most people being right handed would draw from the left. Obviously there's more to it than that but that's where the foundations for it come's from. America's road to independence led them to adopt a lot of anti British ideals, 'driving' on the right to stick it to the Brit's was one of them (obviously there was no car's around so think horse and cart), that kinda paved the way for others to follow suit. It's a funny ole world
Haha his face "Cor blimey guv this is neat"
realistically speaking, it's more like this:

"caww, aww dun pretty wewul for miself dint OI"

Too bad we'll never even see it.

Now that's pretty freaking cool, best supercar for the job. There's probably still going to be a select few who think they'll be able to outrun it, hah. Personally though, I think it needs a bolder paint scheme [IMG_thumb]http://imageshack.com/a/img24/5593/9lmt.png[/IMG_thumb]
I'd be up for this if it was real, though they'd probably want to use something slightly heavier
This is some Dubai-level shit
More like Italy, they have pulled the same thing with a Lamborghini. As far as I know they use(d) it for the same purpose, breaking the ice.
Criminals might have to think again about attempting a getaway after police revealed their newest and fastest police car

Car never actually to be used
Truly, quality Daily Mail journalism there.
Now if this were for real chases, how would they handle going in a chase? I mean, these super cars are very delicate. Unless they reinforce the bodies. NFS: Hot Pursuit made a lot of sense, by making the super cars you drive in the "First Responder" class, meaning you just chase the criminal to where a large road-block of 10 squad cars are to arrest the guy
Wast of money
I'll still outrun him
Cut back police funding and officers on the beat, buy supercar to catch speeding motorway criminals instead of tailing them at a safer distance and blocking junctions. Good job police budgeting. Okay so I didn't read the article properly. But still it's still a fucking stupid idea and a waste of taxpayer (myself included) money.
I'm not really sure about this America switched from left-hand traffic to right-hand traffic because of the nature of their wagons
Well I'm 100% certain of it based on the history books I read a long time ago, the only reason i remember it was because it struck me as such a petty thing to do. That being said, it's not the only reason, but one of. Prior to independence the Americas 'drove' on the left like everyone else because thats how britian did it. The idea was at least partly influenced or pushed by the French when they tried to form closer ties with the Americas. Other countries that gained their independence did exactly the same thing, it was viewed as a way of solidifying their independence by doing things their own way. But this isn't a history lesson so take it for what you will.
Personally though, I think it needs a bolder paint scheme
Battenburg is a highly visible pattern. It's far more striking than the car in your post when looked at in real life, though I'd prefer a broader strip. The full battenburg vehicles are impossible to miss, and that's before the blues and twos.
All I can think of whenever I see a police supercar imagine the repair costs
oh hey, that hapened in my town, and yes we have shitty viability :v:
Translation: "Here's how dedicated we are to annoying motorists who do six over in a construction site: We bought a six figure car on tax dollars and painted police livery on it!" Stupid publicity bullshit. There is absolutely zero need to buy a car like this for highway patrol. Not even here in the US where fast cars meet cheap gas. Over there the typical car has between 75 and 110HP. Slow as balls. Even the Volvo wagons they use can outrun 90% of what they're up against, and for the other 10%, they have helos and enough surveillance to make the NSA envious.
