It's a stylized logo, it's still just written as Valve. Courtesy of valvesoftware.com
Both are correct.
Someday Valve... someday I'll be in your offices.... working.... sigh
Do we get Gordon Glasses with the HL2 HUD?
I would pay an obscene amount of money for those.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but it doesn't seem to be working.
Do we get Gordon Glasses with the HL2 HUD?
That would be incredibly useful. I'm serious.
I'm sure they'll be announcing Valve Glasses at E3!
sounds stupid to be honest everyone hyping up nothing because its valve
Get with the times Valve
Oh shit, what if they make a fucking Pipboy.
Little did we know this is actually an HL3 ARG
wearable
New advancements in hat technology.
Wearable computers have been worked on for a very long time now just that recently have people been showing progress. VALVe is actually the correct way to type their name.
yeah if you're a fucking tryhard
VALVe is actually the correct way to type their name.
let's ask the people themselves Well, they spell it "Valve" everywhere.
I wouldn't be surprised if this gets tied into TF2. "Pre-Order now and get it in TF2."
I came across this about a week and a half ago. If Valve could refine something like this, it'd be pretty awesome.
If this was any other company, FP would be calling it a stupid gimmick. I don't see the point, I don't really want to wear my computer.
let's ask the people themselves Well, they spell it "Valve" everywhere.
The proper punctuation of the word "Valve" is a serious issue that affects everyone.
-snip did not notice page two-
The proper punctuation of the word "Valve" is a serious issue that affects everyone.
Apparently so if people are still talking about it a page later...
God, will you people stop arguing? Any idiot can see it's spelled "Valve." I'm sick of this, if you need me, I'll be playing DooM.
I don't really want to wear my computer, I don't understand the obsession people have with it. It looks stupid, seems like it would be uncomfortable and very distracting, and doesn't offer anything new that, say, an iPhone or Droid can't do, besides being perched on your face. Plus you can't use a keyboard and that's a pretty huge turnoff for me as I don't like talking to my face-computer in public in order to make it do things and I really don't want it to read my mind.
You don't even know how it will work(At this point, not even Valve does), don't make those assumptions.
If I put a lanyard on my iPhone, does that count as wearable computing? original ideal do not stela
VALVe is actually the correct way to type their name.
If you're going by their logo (which is a stupid thing to do, by the way) it's "VALV[sup]E[/sup]", not 'VALVe'. [editline]14th April 2012[/editline] Clearly what they're doing is making a suit that speaks to you in a calm, clear, feminine voice about your current physical condition. Such a thing would probably also contain a Geiger counter and an antitoxin administration system is my guess.
God, will you people stop arguing? Any idiot can see it's spelled "Valve." I'm sick of this, if you need me, I'll be playing DooM.
Ugh I hate it when people type "Doom" like "DooM"
Ugh I hate it when people type "Doom" like "DooM"
Actually. The correct way to spell it is " DOOM " but it's O.K.
who the hell wants to wear a computer
who the hell wants to wear a computer
me
To be clear, this is R&D – it doesn’t in any way involve a product at this point, and won’t for a long while, if ever – so please, no rumors about Steam glasses being announced at E3.
I love that they said this. You see something like this far too often: some WORLD OF TOMORROW! technology is revealed and is said to be in development "Expect a usuable product on store shelves within 5 years!" and it's never heard of again. Valve is being honest here, they are saying "we want to try to do this, but we're really just experimenting, don't get angry if we can't produce anything." They're doing this solely for experimentation as opposed to business.
If valve says its going to take a long time Its never being finished.
