Father proves he's a LAD by luring a suspected paedophile to a field and beating him to death

If you beat someone to death for texting your daughter you're a psychopath.
Alright then, let's say you were the father. What would you have done? And be honest about it.
This isn't a question of whether the father has the right to be livid, it's a question of did he do the right thing murdering someone and filming it when he could have gone to the authorities instead of fucking up his life, possibly his daughters, and murdering someone.
IMHO this type of barbaric "justice" shouldn't be applauded at all.
If the pedo actually assaulted his daughter, I could understand his rage (still wouldn't make it right). Any sane person would've just called the cops at this point. He escalated it to a point that resulted in someones death. He's a murderer.
Nice to see that facepunchers are once again condoning murder of suspects
Nice to see that facepunchers are once again condoning murder
Honestly I'm slightly surprised by the amount condoning so far

Great to see the hivemind at work again in SH

Nah it's just your typical bunch of non-civilized barbarian apes.
Someone doesn't realize movies aren't real life...

strange how you can't handle having the minority opinion
i wonder why that is
"If someone has a different opinion to me, then you're wrong"
no
Free speech on SH everyone!
So "murder is wrong" is now considered an opinion?
[editline]10th March 2015[/editline]
I mean technically it IS an opinion but why the fuck would you think otherwise?
strange how you can't handle having the minority opinion

It's also funny how there's about six posts in this thread with people moaning about my opinion. It works both ways mate.
Deserved it. Or do you lot think that "Re-educating" him would have been the better way?
Lets be realistic here, if that was your kid you wouldn't be going "Oh he needs to learn not to touch little kids, time to educate him the right way!". I completely understand the father's anger.
And now you're going to jail and your daughter will grow up fatherless and with possibly no one to protect her anymore.
Good job.

I feel a warm embrace of passionate love actually

Just like that guys daughter did when he murdered someone for her?
Yeah, pretty clear cut. You can argue shit when a pedo actually in real life goes after her, but this was very clearly thought out and planned in advance. He had every opportunity to call the police, and handle this in a far better manner, and he willingly chose OF HIS OWN VOLITION to murder him and film it on top of that. He made his choice, he can deal with the consequences. Are you seriously arguing that he should just be allowed to run off and murder someone?
[editline]e[/editline]
"I can't believe I got in trouble for the pre-meditated murder in cold blood I committed and filmed!"
id like to see a brazillian facepuncher tell us his opinion in the matter, maybe if the father wouldve turned him in the pedo wouldve gotten off with a slap on the wrist or maybe just not the appropriate sentence?
what the father did was horrible and he deserves punishment for the murder, but i'd personally like to know more about the story

But imagine if it was your daughter!
It's like a real life get out of jail free card!
Just like that guys daughter did when he murdered someone for her?
Or what the pedo would have done if he had gotten his hands on the daughter.

Nah, I'm just referring to his mentality at the time. Maybe it wasn't the way to go but some people handle situations differently compared to others. You must think that the world is perfect and that nothing bad is happening right? Like one of those delusional gals?

At the time?
The video was posted online by the father of an 11-year-old girl the man allegedly tried to groom using messaging service Whatsapp over three months.
But the 23-year-old, from the state of Goias in Brazil, didn't realise he had been talking to the girl's father.
GOD YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I JUST COULDN'T CONTROL MYSELF FROM RAGE FOR 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT
From the sound of it he never intended on killing him just giving him a good beating, probably overdone it and killed him by accident.

How do we know he was talking to him for three straight months? He could have taken over from the daughter 2 months in...

I'm not even sure what the hell this is supposed to mean but if it's related to the LAD thing I'd like an explanation.
How do we know he was talking to him for three straight months? He could have taken over from the daughter 2 months in...
Because that's what the article says?
[editline]e[/editline]
Does it even matter?
I COULDN'T CONTROL MY RAGE FOR 2 MONTHS STRAIGHT AeRRHghGH
Deserved it. Or do you lot think that "Re-educating" him would have been the better way?
Somebody was murdered and a video of this murder was posted online.
From the sound of it he never intended on killing him just giving him a good beating, probably overdone it and killed him by accident.
two means to the same end. as soon as you swing for someone with serious damage intent you better be prepared for the chance of killing that person.
Wasn't aware it was even a swear word. Censorship these days..
Depends on the context I suppose. An article that is showing content so gruesome however, you'd think that bastard would be the least of their worries in their censorship process.
Or what the pedo would have done if he had gotten his hands on the daughter.

I don't actually understand what you mean by the bold part or why you had to specify gals?
And no I don't think the world is perfect. That's why I think the father should be trialled for murder. Because yes he may have had an infuriated mentality, but a sensible person would overcome the fury and do the sensible thing. This wasn't an "at the time" thing. This was pre-meditated. He brought a video camera to film it, arranged to meet him.
He had plenty of time to calm down and think sensibly, but instead he decided he rules over who lives and who dies when it comes to him and his family.
The world isn't perfect, but does that mean we should not call out imperfect behaviour when we see it? Or we just accept it and move on.
You must think we shouldn't bother to make a better world.
Honestly, if this dude tried to rape my daughter, I'd beat the everloving shit out of him too. Not sure if the murder was accidental or not, seems like it was.
Whether it's justice or not, I don't blame the father in the slightest.

My first instinct would be to get him away from the daughter. Afterwards I would report him. I don't see the point in using violence on someone who isn't bringing immediate violence back.
I was thinking this as I read the OP. I don't really care about what others are saying, nor do I really care about being grouped into a "hivemind".
You really gotta lay off the violence, man. I don't know if you're just speaking in pseudo-violence, or if you're legitimately violent, but you shouldn't act completely off your emotions nor jump immediately to violence as an answer. It doesn't matter who you're dealing with - violence should be for self-defense.
You also don't seem to care that he was persistently violent until the pedophile was dead. That's a whole other level.
Honestly, if this dude tried to rape my daughter, I'd do the exact same thing.

You don't blame him for killing someone? You really should think about that.
