There aren't really any atheist causes though. You won't see many atheist charities for example, because atheists are pretty individualistic.
Meh, I have seen many atheist/agnostics that are very charitable. Mostly scientist and those who contribute to the scientific cause in any way. Buying food for a bunch of Africans wont help much, but helping develop a method to feed them continuously will.
There aren't really any atheist causes though. You won't see many atheist charities for example, because atheists are pretty individualistic.
World's most atheist country is arguably Sweden. Swedes donated the most per capita to Haiti relief.
I am not talking about Christianity, I am talking about religion. This. Is. Unconstitutional. And stop using that emote, it only makes you look more like a jackass.
So why can we dedicate entire months dedicated to other Races' History excluding the Whites (Ok that sounded really racist, but whatever) despite the fact it's illegal to discriminate based on Race, yet we can't even give one day commentating the religious despite it not establishing or enforcing an religion? Unless they change the name to 'National Christian Prayer Day', I don't really see how this violates separation of Church and state since it's neutral as it does not specify a single religion, nor does it force anyone to partake in religious observance or practice, nether does it declare America to be a nation under one religion.

separation of church and state

But you are not getting it. This is in direct violation of the constitution. Making a directly religious holiday violates the separation of church and state. Why can't you just accept this?
But every time those scientist come up with a way to do that, Environmentalist do everything in their power to ban it since it somehow hurts the Planet despite the fact they can't grow food without it.
Well, that is science, trial and error. It is a beautiful poetry that is way more interesting than "God made it happen. Though I am assuming your position, in which I apologize.
I thought it was Japan or China.
No, Japan has Christianity, Buddhism and Shinto, meanwhile China has Taoism and Buddhism.
I thought it was Japan or China.
There is a huge difference between Agnosticism and Atheism. The swede would say "There is no God." the Japanese person would say "I don't think of such things" [editline]07:28PM[/editline]
No, Japan has Christianity, Buddhism and Shinto, meanwhile China has Taoism and Buddhism.
Religion is like illegal in China.
If you are not required to pray or anything, why not?
World's most atheist country is arguably Sweden. Swedes donated the most per capita to Haiti relief.
Yes but that's on a individual basis. I'm not saying atheists don't donate to charity, that would be ridiculous.
Why not make a "Day of Memory" It doesn't mean you have to pray for the fallen or others, but think about them. That's pretty secular too. Wait isn't that memorial day?
Yes but that's on a individual basis. I'm not saying atheists don't donate to charity, that would be ridiculous.
Living in redneck U.S.A. I can say that 0 Christians here donated to Haiti.
If you are not required to pray or anything, why not?
We've been over this. While it's not forcing anything on anyone, it still constitutes the U.S. government having an official stance on religion, that's it's good and it should be celebrated. But we're supposed to be secular, eg. not having any opinion one way or the other.

And yet, people still go on about it.
Religion is like illegal in China.
Even in the Soviet Union Religion was not Illegal.

What is hostile separation of church and state?
Even in the Soviet Union Religion was not Illegal.
China is retarded. They're a capitalist totalitarian state. It's ironic that a 'communist' state has the most human rights violations at workplace in the world.

In a Democracy, the people decide if you should be in office or not.

I don't need more religion.
ftfy
Huh, good point. Nobody but the rich and powerful win.
I don't need more religion.
May I ask why?
Communism never works out because power corrupts. In a Democracy, the people decide if you should be in office or not.
What you're saying is correct assuming the form of communism is through totalitarian leadership. Communism has never been tested in true form.
What you're saying is correct assuming the form of communism is through totalitarian leadership. Communism has never been tested in true form.
Thats because those who want to never get the power to. Only those who want more power sugar coat it. But seriously, lets not derail.
