Only because of butthurt atheists. This law doesn't affect them in any way.
This.
Right do you mind if I take your guns?
Right do you mind if I take your guns?
He's British, so he doesn't have any. Meanwhile, I can own as many AR-15s and AKs as I want. :smug:
This.
You're retarded. Not everyone opposed to this is automatically an atheist. It's called following the Constitution. This is supposed to be a SECULAR nation. Were you dropped on your head as a baby like Glaber? [editline]10:58PM[/editline]
He's British, so he doesn't have any.
but you can't legally marry :smug:
I bet he could marry his guns
If people are going to bitch about this, I can't see why we don't just cancel Christmas as well.
pagan holiday
Token political action for Christian conservative support.
Well what do you expect me to do, stand idle while he basically says he was assuming I was some ignorant backwards retarded hick that he has some given right to lecture and infringe on my Freedom of Belief because I didn't state my fucking belief in Evolution earlier and then goes on to question my perceived faith to be due to only some illogical fear of some non-existent Being simply because I think the Day of Prayer doesn't really violate the Separation of Church due to my interpretation of it. I'm sorry Kind Sir, I will not calm the Fuck down.
here have a comma ,
Black Pride Month. National Prayer Day. White Pride Month. National Logic Day. I don't see the big deal with this.
I don't think there is a pride month? Isn't it black history month?
I don't see the big deal with this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_church_and_state_in_the_United_States read up
Black Pride Month. National Prayer Day. White Pride Month. National Logic Day.
why did you put... i'm a little confused
ITT: Sore atheists are forcing others to be open minded. Ignorance is amusing. This holiday isn't forcing anyone to believe anything. Hindus are represented as equally as Christians, and to declare the national day of prayer unconstitutional would also be to deem Christmas unconstitutional. Christmas isn't forced on anyone either, and I dare say it's presence as a widely-recognized holiday is more invasive. But nobody wants to toss Christmas out.
Please ignore the dumb ratings, you know very well who they come from- I have to agree with everything you said in that post.
Please ignore the dumb ratings, you know very well who they come from- I have to agree with everything you said in that post.
which is why we have the agree rating
I am so politically confused! I don't know what to label myself! I'm an Atheist with very liberal political views but I live in the south and love my guns! srsly though I don't give a rats ass about the "National day of prayer" bullshit, have your fucking day of prayer, but have it STRICTLY WITHIN THE RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY, the government should have NOTHING to do with religion and before you start bitching that includes the presidential administration pushing to legally establish a national day of prayer, and prayer has to do with religion no matter how you look at it, so the government needs to stay the fuck out of it.
I am so politically confused! I don't know what to label myself! I'm an Atheist with very liberal political views but I live in the south and love my guns!
Libertarian?
I am so politically confused! I don't know what to label myself! I'm an Atheist with very liberal political views but I live in the south and love my guns!
Liberalism and gun rights are compatible; don't fret. Liberalism != Democratic party line.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_church_and_state_in_the_United_States read up
Not to discredit you, but methinks you don't give a shit about secularism, you're just mad because you're atheist. At least that's what I perceive.
Me doth think you canst not read.
Not to discredit you, but methinks you don't give a shit about secularism, you're just mad because you're atheist. At least that's what I perceive.
Not to discredit you, but I think you're an illiterate, ignorant and arrogant theistic poster that doesn't give a shit about rules that appear to favor your own group, but that's probably just how I perceive it.
Not to discredit you, but methinks you don't give a shit about secularism, you're just mad because you're atheist. At least that's what I perceive.
For all the posts in this thread that I've seen you make, this is exactly the kind of immature logical fallacy I see you parrot all the fucking time. Either make an argument, or say that you can't.
lol bat congras didt mak a law rezpektin a religin so its no unlawfil :downs:
what? I honestly can't tell what you're trying to say.
He's a Christian, look it up.
Do you really expect him to admit he's anything BUT Christian? He would never have been voted in if he admitted otherwise.
Shouldn't even be getting involved.
I'm going to push for a national day of non-prayer.
how about we push for a day where everyone just gives this shit a rest
religion and government should in theory be completely separated, due to the frequent irrational nature of most religions. I also believe that originally the American government was intended to be religion free, and how "under god" was not originally in the pledge of allegiance, but yet this eternal plague of humanity still managed to squeeze itself in this government. Doing this will only promote the unity of government and religion, directly and indirectly, which annoys the crap out of me.
