I assume its too much to hope for some Venom & Carnage action in this new iteration?
I dream of the day someone makes a PSA that goes "Every few years, a new Uncle Ben is born, and is killed by a criminal. Only YOU can stop it!"
The kid actually does gymnastics(even if its only stuff like flips now) which is neat, it just depends if they let him do his own stunts. https://instagram.com/p/4MeUrXMdqo/ https://instagram.com/p/121jugsdlr/ And 50 seconds in
Will not be watching it, fucking tired of this I hated "amazing" spider-man due to the actor being a gaylorde. Now we have Justin Bieber 2, fuck this Tobey or go home.
Tobey Maguire was often pretty damn awful and his acting style was only valid in the original trilogy because the original trilogy was intentionally hammy and cheesy in a lot of regards.

He had the perfect level of awkwardness that Garfield couldn't bring to the table. He played an okay Spider-Man, too, but it was really just okay.
Oh god, that's a mole. We're gonna have to look at it through the movie.
He already got it removed. Here's a recent photo of him. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lqUGJ7T.jpg[/t]
He already got it removed. Here's a recent photo of him. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lqUGJ7T.jpg[/t]
Oh damn, well hello there...
tbf, tobey was 26 and garfield was 28 when their movies were released. this is the first time we're getting actual teenager spider-man
I just want a Spiderman movie that isn't a farce. I'm sick of every Spiderman film feeling either folksy and saccharine or like the people making it had no idea what the fuck they were doing. The Spiderman I like is the one that led into Deadpool. Clever, quick, often says things that go against the tone of the scene and add comedy to seriousness. Uses actual clever insults or taunts against foes he knows they'll work on, and some he knows they won't but what the hell it's worth a shot. The one who's a total horndog and isn't afraid to be a dick. But you'll love him for being a dick because it was funny. And when it wasn't he often gets put in his place for it, which is funny.
He already got it removed. Here's a recent photo of him. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lqUGJ7T.jpg[/t]
With that picture, I totally can see him playing Spiderman.
My favorite spider man to ever live: [t]http://moviehole.net/img/Tobey-Maguire.jpg[/t]
Ambien Spiderman.
As far as I'm concerned, the Sam Rami Spider-Man movies will not be topped for a long time. They may not be the most amazing (haha) movies ever made, but god-damn it, they have heart.

I'd love to go to the alternate universe where he was allowed to make an R-rated Spiderman movie. The one where Spidey fights a stunned Carnage, gets a good kick to the stomach on him, and then Carnage projectile vomits gore like a fire hose.
Didnt make enough jokes, i feel, but he was still good.
Are you kidding me, those faces were part of the jokes. Sam Raimi always liked putting slapstick in his movies. Just look at Army of Darkness.
Why can't we get adult spider-man for a change We've had teenager/young adult spider-man for five movies already
We've had adults/young adults playing teenagers, it's different.
Can we just stop with spiderman? You can't make a good movie out of him.
Can we just stop with spiderman? You can't make a good movie out of him.
The first two movies with Maguire were great albeit cheesy as fuck
The first two movies with Maguire were great albeit cheesy as fuck
The first 2 movies with Toby also captured Spiderman in general. Lowbrow, underdog college genius who uses his abilities for good, but always toys with his foes (sometimes to his negative). The new ones just felt like they were trying to erase that and follow the MCU's more gritty attitude, and it fell flat in both places.
I'm glad it's someone I scarcely have heard of. I love seeing new talent and what they may bring to the table.
The new ones just felt like they were trying to erase that and follow the MCU's more gritty attitude, and it fell flat in both places.
i really wouldn't call the mcu gritty, nor would i say that's the reason the new spidey movie didn't work. imo it was indeed trying to copy the style of the other marvel films but it failed because it was a cheap attempt with no commitment to either style or substance
Tobey Maguire was often pretty damn awful and his acting style was only valid in the original trilogy because the original trilogy was intentionally hammy and cheesy in a lot of regards.
Has it been that long that we're calling the Spider Man films from the 2000's the "Original Trilogy" Isn't that phrase already taken anyway? I'm definitely getting a bit tired of teenage Peter Parker in every Spider-Man movie. Some variety would be nice. Adult Peter Parker, or even Miles Morales, would be an awesome change of pace. They're honestly much better characters than teenage Peter ever was anyway.
