What constitutes a "common line" is up for debate but I know people personally (in the US, for what it's worth) who said to me, literally, that the Brexit campaign "was just a bunch of racists and idiots." That exact phrase was used. And if you followed the campaign for more than 2 minutes, you know that that sentiment was rife throughout the Remain side. Look up video of the protests held immediately after the vote and just listen to what these people were saying. This isn't a "conspiracy," there's no smoke filled back room where the CEO of Goldman Sachs plots maliciously with Anita Sarkeesian about how they can destroy all white men muhahaha. It's an aligning of common interests that resulted in an ideological alliance. The result is that any expression of anti-globalist sentiment means you must be a racist or nationalist who just hates the outside world. Obviously I'm painting with broad strokes here.
Alliance implies coordination, which I have seen no sign of, especially considering that "SJW" probably isn't a remarkable demographic by any real measurement, and in fact is probably impossible to measure given how broadly it's used as an insult/epithet/pejorative.
I have a comfy IT job and a degree, I'm fine. It's the rest of my generation I'm concerned about, and you should feel the same
I don't care where you work, who you know, doesn't matter You genuinely believe that there's such a thing as "SJW's", not just as individuals, but as a conglomerate that makes actions as a thinking force together, that is subject to globalist overlords. Dude, you live in a fucking sheltered fantasy if you honestly believe this is 100% true. The world is not owned or controlled by anyone, and if it was, I gauruntee you, that an orange, middling businessmen who's failed to even be a "billionaire" in comparison to his competition isn't going to be the one to "Break your shackles" and "Free you from your proletariat existence" and he isn't going to "Stomp on the bourgeoisie". Can you guys also not see the blatant hypocrisy in criticizing the remain campaign and globalists for painting the leave campaign as racists and bigots while turning right around and calling them social justice warriors? I never said any of that, that's a strawman. I never said SJWs are controlled by anyone, obviously they have agency, and I never endorsed trump as what you described I'm like Corbyn in relationship to brexit. Schadenfreude
Can you guys also not see the blatant hypocrisy in criticizing the remain campaign and globalists for painting the leave campaign as racists and bigots while turning right around and calling them social justice warriors?
It doesn't matter when they're pushing a narrative that shows them as those being hard done by. They're just making appeals to emotion based off of tinfoil hat arguments and improperly formed conclusions, that have no basis in solid, verifiable fact. It's just why they keep calling things like Brexit and Trump "victories" of democracy when one was based on a tissue of lies and the other will leave them lower in the dust than if they'd have just elected Clinton.
I never said any of that, that's a strawman. Schadenfreude
I don't know who you are replying to but I never said you said SJWs were controlled by anyone, just that they were the driving force of Brexit and the left. People "on the ground" is how I think you described them, with globalists at the top? It just seems like you don't like people who oppose globalization from being cast as racists and bigots but you are totally okay with casting people who favor globalization as out of touch bourgeois and social justice warriors. Regarding never endorsing Trump, so you don't think he would be better for Clinton for the working class? I'm getting serious mixed messages here.
She forgot "furries."
what does that even have to do with anything
On topic this isn't a smart move by Hillary, she shouldn't insult the supporters because right now those supporters are the blue collar / middle class? lower middle class - I dunno silent majority we saw take over the Republican nomination. It doesn't make her campaign look any better and it comes off as insulting to Trump supporters who are all about merica (a lot of those), so they'll take it as an insult to their patriotism. Nationality is rising in the world apparently. If enough people use the term SJW (Social Justice Warrior) does it make it true or not?
You would have to be deaf and blind not to notice the personality cult of racist chucklefuck shitgibbons behind Trump.

Sure as shit hasn't shown that respect before lmao. Encouraging his own rally-goers to assault the opposition with the vague hint of paying off their legal fees when they do sure sounds like "respect".
You would have to be deaf and blind not to notice the personality cult of racist chucklefuck shitgibbons behind Trump.
It's probably not a great idea for somebody who wants to sit in the Oval Office to say these kind of things towards the opposition if they want those people to respect them when they're in office. [editline]10th September 2016[/editline]
Honestly you've said enough gibberish at this point that I'm not even sure what your point is other than "Hilary is evil, people who call out racism are evil, and never do it for the right reasons" you've flat out inserted patently false narratives into this discussion without a tinge of irony or awareness so what the fuck do you actually want to talk about
Progressives literally have nothing to say to the white working class other than "you're racist". And now people are wondering why they can't get their support.
She forgot "furries."
thanks for reminding me [t]http://img12.deviantart.net/7a45/i/2006/219/b/4/furry_republican_by_ironfox21.jpg[/t]
I'm like Corbyn in relationship to brexit. Schadenfreude
i recognize these terms but this is legitimate word salad
It's probably not a great idea for somebody who wants to sit in the Oval Office to say these kind of things towards the opposition if they want those people to respect them when they're in office.
it's hard to get a gaggle of knuckle dragging imbeciles to respect you when their beloved leader has taught them that you're the devil I mean why not just call a spade a spade at this point
What the fuck are you on about now? I'm a white, lower middle class person but you will happily talk over me in an effort to dismiss "progressives"
I don't think gamers/internet folk like us count... We're like the special forgotten part of a generation that sits cosily in between normalcy / post-9/11 in youth and growing up during this strange fall of how good things were before then. You get me dog?
What the fuck are you on about now? I'm a white, lower middle class person but you will happily talk over me in an effort to dismiss "progressives"
I'm not "talking over you". I'm trying to restate a point that I wasn't sure you had addressed yet. Honestly the left has very little to offer the white working class, and they don't seem to care. They are just waiting for them to go extinct. Bernie's democratic socialism didn't appeal to them either. Basically if you categorize their candidate as an evil racist don't be surprised when you get almost none of their vote.
I just don't see the logic in attacking a candidates actual voterbase, regardless of how you think about the statements, it seems kinda pointless, it's not gonna bring in new voters or change someone's mind, she only really could hurt herself from this. Recently she clarified her statement and said that "ok maybe it's less than half", so who wants to call her out on backpedaling?

I don't see this strategy working out very well but we will have to see. It kinda worked on Romney.

Whether he actually cares about them is irrelevant to this conversation.

(despite what people here believe, Trump supporters don't think they're racist or at least the normal ones don't) The /pol side of Trump is just shit posting in a world turning PC. In America and knowing Americans in general they're usually patriotic (personal generalisation) - Trump has been non-stop I LOVE AMERICA EVERYONE LOOK AT ME and Clinton less so.
Well the polls show that they overwhelmingly support him. Whether he actually cares about them is irrelevant to this conversation.
Admitting that a campaign is an act shouldn't increase your chances of voting for the guy so why do you want him when he doesn't care about you

Sounds mighty close to white nationalism to me.
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/brexit-jeremy-corbyn-faces-no-confidence-motion-labour-following-nonplussed-attitude-1567288
yes i am aware of this but none of what you're saying makes any sense. you post like you're talking to yourself using a language you invented and we all just happen to be listening.
So basically you're one of the people who believes in the existence of a white genocide. Sounds mighty close to white nationalism to me.
There it is. If you give a shit about outsourcing, the destruction of your community due to de-industrialization, and you don't want power to be increasingly held in the hands of a tiny minority of people, then you're a white nationalist. This is what I'm talking about HumanAbyss. [editline]10th September 2016[/editline] It's kind of a masterstroke for the elite. There's no argument against them unless you want to be a:
gaggle of knuckle dragging imbeciles
