Yeah, seen it bundled with DoD:S.
I got a copy that was bundled with DoD:S and HL2:DM.
now that these games have been taken off the shelves, we can live safe in the knowledge that they can't cause anyone to commit any acts of violence what so ever, ever again :)
I think the game that deserves to be temporarily removed is only MW2 because it had the No Russian mission.
Other than that if we're talking about murder games in general, What happened to GTA, Battlefield, etc?

The electronics retailer Spaceworld has not removed any products from their shelves.
- We can not see any connection between the tragedy and the fact that we sell games. We have never seen any research on that games alone lead to such incidents, says marketing manager Carl Haakon Klafstad to NTB.

LOL, NOT CS 1.6!!!
Okay, I bet you that if the macecre guy says he got some training from Angry Birds, that would be the best day eva!
no russian wasn't even that bad, it's made clear that you shouldn't shoot civilians and if you blow your cover by shooting the guys before you see what their ulterior motive is, you failed your mission
Wait you weren't suppose to kill civilians?
Shit, I always thought you were suppose to shoot first so the other guys join in.
Not mandatory
how is it not?

You can but you don't have to.
Yeah because that guy totally got inspired to murder that much people from CSS or COD
Censorship is never the right solution. This is just a knee-jerk reaction, all these bans/removals might be reversed later on.
Pretty said that they're allowing this monster to continue to mess with peoples rights and lives. Not only did he get to take away many lives but he is taking away the rights of normal people who would never do such a thing. Everyone is becoming a victim of this crime.

They're voluntary, temporary removals by individual store owners in respect of the tragedy. No censorship involved, it's entirely at the shop owner's discretion.
In the local article I've read it was speculated that the WoW thing was probably just a facade so he can explain his change of lifestyle when he started the preparations...
WoW is a murder simulator?
Well there's that quest where you have to kill 1000 gnomes.
Good thing they removed it, because now everybody knows massacres from right-wing extremists are caused by fucking video games.
Wow, might as well remove all movies with similar content from shelves too. Why do people always single video games out?
Massive overreaction, what about teethbrushes? He must have used one, so we must remove them also from stores!
Welcome to the club :smith:
Fuck this,*politicians know NOTHING about video games, and keep using them as scapegoats
how is it not?
Its not by saying no.
There is an online survey that you have to do, and they ask you if you want to go in.
There is a high chance that they listen to your answer, and even higher if you have plans after school
People still aren't realising that it's just the actual stores removing them out of respect, they aren't getting banned
It doesn't matter how much you say it, people will still post before reading anything in the thread.
I think he secretly hates Modern Warfare games and mentioned them just to see this happen
Why is it every time a loon goes on a killing spree only Vidya Gaymes are pulled from shelves, why not violent movies as well if you want to respect the dead?
So what about them Murder Movies? Has the film Terminator been removed yet since it depicts a cyborg murdering a whole police force in five minutes flat?
In this specific case Breivik mentioned WoW as a game he played a lot and Modern Warfare games as games that can train you to go on a killing spree.
Norway is the last place I would have expected reactionary idiots like this to show up
Well at least it stopped kids from buying horrible games.
EVERY GAME IS HORRIBLE EXCEPT THE ONES I LIKE!
Seriously though, does people actually buy games from coop and platekompaniet? :wat:
After Utoya, I just can't help but think about the massacre when I'm on a killing spree in GTA.
In other news: Australia bans the name Anders.
After Utoya, I just can't help but think about the massacre when I'm on a killing spree in GTA.
Atleast there aren't children in GTA.

Why, there had been plenty of massacres before the Utøya one.
And they're all equally horrible.
