How is this different from any other battlefield game's singleplayer
If you were expecting anything good from the singleplayer then you deserve to be let down.
Don't get me wrong. I love Singleplayer and Multiplayer. You can rate my previous post dumb because I said that when I only started to play it. Now the SP is super fun.
you can't spell ignorant without ign.
lol
"The Singleplayer is not worth the price, being only 6 hours."
And you guys bought MW2 too Anyways huh.
"I wasn't a very big fan of the first bad company." No wonder why he gave it a 8.9, he is just a mw2 die hard fan.
I bought MW2 and I've played it and I enjoyed the multilayer... for a bit. Then it got boring, bland, and repetitive since most of the maps don't actually let you do decent sniping and it's more run in there and hope you can shoot the person first. MW2's single player was fun, And I can actually play that again unlike the multiplayer which is just boring now.
I got the demo for BC2 and I've been enjoying that over all of MW2's multiplayer combined. I can actually keep playing the demo because I can actually feel like the role of a sniper if I want to, Or a medic, or an engineer. I can also control vehicles which is badass, and it's awesome to see vehicles fighting around you while you try to kill an individual soldier across the battle. Not to mention the demo is only one map, And you only get a few upgrades (I don't have it for PC) yet it's still better in my opinion.
Biased reviewer much?
I can't think of one instance in BC1 when I thought a character was annoying, they were awesome.
How did the sound get a 9 and MW2 get a 10? This is the best sounding game I've ever heard. MW2 sounds like crap compared to this. If you don't believe me go get a home theater system and compare the two, there is really no competition.
I could understand if they compared it to COD4, because MW1 was "new" to the CoD series. But MW2 is just MW1 with more shit slapped onto it. Sure BC2 has the same basis as BC1 - Rush Gamemode, conquest, squadplay, destructible environment. But play both and holy shit are they different in terms of gameplay. The whole customization and the semi-regenerative health really change the game a whole lot.
because it's biased, I would not be surprised if they got bribed for mw2
you can't spell ignorant without IGN.
I literally burst out laughing just now.
RATE THIS MAN FUNNIES.
IGN have always been a bunch of biased cunts, they give games which sell more and sometimes even advertise for them a higher rating. Yet games like MW2 had to use steam, which as usual, made IGN have a fanny fit.
I like how the characters in the campaign reference MW2 a lot. "I just hope they don't send some pussy special op squad with heart beat sensors or somethin'"
hahaha that's genius
IGN were always shit when it comes to game review's anyway i only go there for the occasional news which isnt 360 buyest ( hard to find ) and comic info
i like how its suddenly become cool to bash mw2. what, are you guys pissed off that the jocks are playing it?
Seriously, why would they let a retard do a review, why they always compare something with something completely different,it's like reviewing Super Mario and tossing in some comparison with Sonic the Hedgehog,I'm not saying it's completely retarded,I mean it's fine if...say IW's games are compared like WaW vs MW2 but this review here is just retarded and it is obviously made by a retard,I'm not protecting any of those products, just saying how the fuck do you compare those 2 completely different games, what are also made by different companies, and also say that 1 is better than 2,for some I'm exaggerating, this is injustice, where are these Justicars when we need one!?
Opposed to many people' opinions, I acctually enjoyed BC1's singleplayer.
The guy who reviewed BC2 isn't the same one who reviewed MW2. For all we know, we could've thought MW2 was crap.
It's true. I got the game early from a store and singleplayer is just like playing with bots. Then cutscene. Then playing with bots again.
[editline]03:40PM[/editline]
But it's not annoying and fun, so I'm happy.
You mean you pirated it?
Misses epic feel?
How about some fucking objectivity here?
You mean you pirated it?
I've heard some people got it early from the store's, happens alot these days.
No, he means he got an early retail copy. It happens all the time, retailers just hand out games they're not supposed to.
This man lost credit when he said the characters were annoying in the first game. Also, a war wouldn't have 20 minute breaks while you stare at the pretty environment and drink coffee, of course it's gonna be one thing after another. Damn reviewers, always comparing things to other things that aren't even better than the first of the things.
Also, a war wouldn't have 20 minute breaks while you stare at the pretty environment and drink coffee, of course it's gonna be one thing after another.
Well, usually wars consist of a couple of minutes of fighting, then hours of walking.
Or, in the case of Iraq / Afganistan, hours of shooting and seconds of realising that you weren't shooting at the enemy.
:argh:
All of the characters were awesome in BC :frown:
This guy said "Your player is some kind of Rambo, which can utilise any weapon" are you kidding me? that would fit in MW2, where you can be an assault specialist, run out of ammo, pick up a sniper and immediatley pick off targets
[editline]10:21PM[/editline]
"Legitimate contender to Modern Warfare 2" ... any FLASH GAME is a potential contender to Modern Warfare 2
Can't wait to pick this up on the 2nd.
Luke;20458707']This guy said "Your player is some kind of Rambo, which can utilise any weapon" are you kidding me? that would fit in MW2, where you can be an assault specialist, run out of ammo, pick up a sniper and immediatley pick off targets
I think he was more pointing out that Marlowe can operate all types of vehicles as well.
no cause they're completely biased.
if they found the characters in BC1 annoying, they're idiots. They obviously don't know it's wise to keep cracking jokes off when your life is in the midst of ending, keeps morale up.
They wouldn't know a good game if it bite them in the ass and shoved a grenade in their mouth.
"Kill a bad guy and i'll buy you ice cream for dinner!"
The funny part is, they sampled what real soldiers had actually said in combat to keep morale up for the multiplayer voices, the above example being one of them. So if they thought the voices were annoying, perhaps they should go and confront the real-life troops.
I've been contemplating getting this after playing Battlefield 2 much recently. I love playing that game with bots lol
