Strange.. he reportedly lived in both Illinois and Missouri and for every address he lived at the cities occur within both states. I favour the basic idea of stupidass that it is a bunch of drug deal info' although I am not happy with his suggested meanings. Since we know he was seeing a doctor for mental illness regularly and supposedly had chronic heart and breathing problems, I would fancy methamphetamine involvement. Since a major precursor chemical for methamphetamines in those days was pseudo ephidrine, I would strongly suspect that that is what 'SE' stands for. Consequently, the list is likely the list of pharmacies/places and quantities/dates that he obtained pseudo-ephidrine. Probably too late to check his dwellings out for meth' labs now though!

come to think of it.. given that this is more likely to be some version of shorthand writing than a simple letter replacement cipher.. WLD and WLD's could mean two entirely separate things.

ok I didnt read every post so sorry if someone else already said this but I believe pg 2 may be directions to somewhere or something (TRSE turn right south east???) who knows I havent spent much time on pg 2 I can tell you on pg 1 on the 4th line (PRPPIT XLYPPIY) looked like 2 separate words to me 1 which has the same 1st 3rd and 4th letter notice also the "2nd word" 4th and 5th are the same also I used a program and crossed referenced every word in the english language enter in each letter of the alphabet (ex. A-AA--, B-BB-- and so on) I was able to narrow it down to 71 and later 56 words then I did the same with the second word then I was able to compare these list narrowed it down to 3 words and hit a wall I eliminated every word in the english language and gave up 4 the night... 2night I tried it backwards (YIPPYLX TIPPRP) and came up with treetop creese (creese is some type of dagger i thought that was cool) still using these words as a benchmark im still not able 2 get any further starting on 2nd page soon! I dont think its a simple letter swap if it is it cannot be english...

@Baldr, speaking for myself; I was already looking into this puzzle when I thought of Googling bits of it. That bought this thread to my attention on account of the many versions/interpretations of the notes it contains. I have benefited from reading others ideas so it is only fair that I share mine. Also, If you start at the the page marked as P1 and take all the numbers, it gives you three telephone numbers. I haven't called them yet but i just put it all together, 171-747-5194, 662-363-5651, and 998-452-3212. If you write these down and write then numbers that they correspond to on a telephone dial pad there is some over lap. there are 5 separate areas on the second page. Then this might mean j=m, k=n, l=o. The number sequence may also tell you when to change the code or the number that the letters apear would change the code.....
