It makes sense to place restrictions on dog breeds that have been bred for the purposes of hunting or fighting, so any idiot that wants one can't buy one and not train it properly.

This. Pitbulls are [B]trained[/B] to be killing machines, only because they are powerful and strong. The one in my building is a total sweetheart and just sits down next to my legs whenever it sees me and loves to be petted. they are not born with hatred at all, just like any other dog. Even rottweilers.
