Wasn't Bing using Google results anyway?
No. I can't be bothered to explain this in detail again but Bing builds its index from Bing Toolbar.
No. I can't be bothered to explain this in detail again but Bing builds its index from Bing Toolbar.
And if people have Bing toolbar installed but go to Google to search then Bing indexes Google stuff. There was a news article about it a year or so ago.
And if people have Bing toolbar installed but go to Google to search then Bing indexes Google stuff. There was a news article about it a year or so ago.
Same goes with Google toolbar and someone going to Bing. They both do the same thing which is when you search something with the toolbar it records what you searched and what you went to and adds it to the index. I don't understand why it comes to Google and Microsoft everyone will just blindly agree with whatever Google says no matter what. All I see is some shitty tactic to push away the (non-)competition. Which annoyingly it worked because anyone who's read it just accepted the idea that Bing stole Google's search results. If the people who did this test honestly though Bing stole results from Google then god help them because their toolbar does the same exact thing. It's rather annoying that companies turn to making someone out to be bad instead of just playing along with honest competition. Hell Google used a lot of ideas that Bing originally had, like the full page preview, twitter results, even that whole background fiasco. It's even more annoying that people believe this bullshit just because it's Google. If you want to bash Bing do it for a legitimate reason, honestly. Just because Google tells you isn't a good idea. For example Bing outside the US wasn't (at one time) good at all (I assume it's decent now considering this is based on several years ago when it was bad). Results outside the US were nonsense. (If it still is please show me). Results are nearly the same (BUT PANDA THEY STOLE IT GOOGLE TOLD ME), they introduced a lot of new things that were so good that Google adopted it, it's all around a good search engine. What I can't figure out is why the hell people just hate it so much and I assume most of the people who hate it, hate it without having ever used it, or just blindly bash it because it's from Microsoft. Only one person ever since Bing was introduced has shown me a reason why Bing wasn't good which was the international thing. Which granted is an important issue, however I'm not sure if it even still exists after all these years. Hell if the situation was reversed and Microsoft accused Google of stealing search results by manipulating a search result by using Bing toolbar and posted, not a god damn person here would believe it and people would just say Microsoft was bullying there way to get more market share and just bash Microsoft (though in this case they would have it coming). Now with all that being said, I do not in fact use Bing. I don't plan on ever using Bing. I in fact use Google. However just because I use one doesn't mean the other is shit. The only reason I don't use Bing is because it's not superior to Google in every aspect. It's as good as, and that's no reason to switch. The only reason I defend it is because people just hate it for no reason which is beyond moronic.
Yeah Bing is ok, but Google is better.
Fuck so I'm not only going to see this "Lms for rate" bullshit on facebook but on google now too... :suicide:
They aren't indexing google+ because nothing will show up
this reminded me to check facebook [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/FuF2I.png[/thumb]

If guns don't kill people and people kill people. Does that mean that toasters dont toast toast, toast toast toast?
that was the most retarded analogy i've ever read
Guns help people kill people. That's my opinion on the matter.
Actually the huge energy release and organ damage kills. Bullet helps people kill people. Gun helps shoot the bullet...

That's why I don't use Bing.
Is it me or does it seem like Google is trying to eat Facebook or something I could just be crazy
that was the most retarded analogy i've ever read
He didn't even come up with it. I've seen it in a philosoraptor picture.
They aren't indexing google+ because nothing will show up
They already index G+ results.
So is bing any good? Suddenly it sounds a lot more attractive.
Bing has Facebook integration and likes from your friends, I'd say that's slightly worse.

I just said that's what they're doing.
