Has it been decided yet?
Just got back from my Imax viewing, apparently, they aren't going to close it.
Direct democracy isn't as good of an idea as it sounds.
Is that because the masses are "too stupid to run their own affairs" a la Edward Bernays or something else? I think that on a national level it is probably a bad idea due to the concentration and centralisation of power required for a nation state but at a local level with delegation (not 'representation'/what the message boy thinks is best) between associations' for joint large scale decisions it could work quite nicely.
and so one man fucked up the box office of the biggest movie release ever [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] there's no way around it - either by continuing the screenings or delaying them there going to lose tons of money
I can't care less about the shootings but i want to see the movie fuck.
I never realize how lucky I am to be living in Singapore. I feel sad for those people at the theater who were killed by that crazy asshole gun man. What is the world coming to. And that was yesterday What kind of world do we live in where people cannot even watch movies in theater without getting shot at. People wanted to enjoy their weekend and now it's ruined I hope the perpetrator gets life imprisonment. These kind of assholes do not appreciate freedom and do not deserve freedom.

Seeing as he is in the Hard to get out of Insanity case
Wouldn't it make more sense (and be more "respectful") to give the proceeds from the movie for something like a day to a fund for the victims?
He even looks like a smug prick.
Like some guy said in another thread, Everyone says that whenever they see the photo of a killer Smiling? Maniac No expression? Cold hearted killer Frowning? Depressed lunatic.
They shouldn't cancel the shows, what'd be really nice is if they kept showing it and made a portion of the proceeds go to the victims.
it confuses me beyond everything as to why anyone would think that the shootings had anything to do with the movie at all
Main reason they are doing it is A. Increased publicity B. Second opening (Everyone knows films sell best in there first weeks)
