We have to consider the other possibility:

She might actually be the train goddess.

So the other gods, of things like farming, ships, warfare, the forge, etc, all have been around a long time, but so have boats, farming, and forging. Maybe that is what happens when you develop a new basic tech. There is a delay and then a new god is born. Since a couple hundred years is basically nothing to gods, that is the time period in which they elect someone to have the power.

Just to clarify, as far as I know, sexism is treating one gender like shit/lesser humans because of old-ass beliefs, prejudices and other such nonsense.

These, however, are just immature jokes that essentially boil down to "sex jokes are funny and I can't stop thinking about sex". Not exactly the same thing, by any stretch. Hell, the jokes are actually pretty gender-neutral when you think about it, since there's really nothing stopping a girl from making the exact same joke. It's less sexism, and more "sex is everything, let me focus on it incessantly because hormones", which really isn't a one-gender thing.
