Barnsley represent. Didn't even know there was a MRLP candidate here until just now.
i think i actually have more faith in the american system than the british system, and i am a fucking brit
My father is going to use his connections to make sure the school I go to is pressurised to add in the extra classes they would not. The British political system is great if you have connections in it.
Can we have Labour back please?
Didn't he also say tuition fee's won't be going up?
That was Clegg. This doesn't show the popularity of the Lib-Dems as a whole - only in Barnsley. Just because they did crap there doesn't mean they are unpopular everywhere. Meanwhile in this thread, anti-Conservatives continue to believe money can be pulled out of thin air*. *Loans don't count - you actually have to pay them back. Something Labour never fully grasped.

I've always been a Lib Dem supporter, but they've always suffered from weak ass leadership. I thought Nick had more balls, and now the AV vote is all going to cock because of it.
Nick Clegg has commented and said, "It was obviously a bad result, but in truth the election was no contest for any non-Labour candidate ... I have no doubt people will try to use this single result to write off the Liberal Democrats. They have done it in the past and we have proved them wrong and we will prove them wrong again.
He's right, we can't just use a single by-election to discredit the Liberal Democrats. The mean results of different polling companies conducting polls over a period of months on the other hand...
