she sure should be grateful for something you're expected and obligated to give her !
I have a feeling you don't know many people who go without do you? Once you have been without some of these you begin to appreciate something that you should "expect" because the parent is obligated. It can be hard for a parent who had a hard childhood to just accept when their kids take things for granted.
she sure should be grateful for something you're expected and obligated to give her !
Yes, she should. She should be grateful that her father takes care of her and works to pays for everything she has, including stuff that he doesn't even need to give here. Your logic is backwards. It's like getting saved from a robber by a police officer and saying "well, fuck him, he was only doing his job anyway. It's not like I need to thank him or anything."
lol, juveniles who hates the dad because he's right and is possibly similar to the daughter i love the tears
How can anyone applaud this cunt? She DARED to say something negative about her family and use her free speech rights and her property is DESTROYED? How is this "good parenting"? Good parents don't be immature and destroy people's property for daring to disagree with them. Good parents don't destroy their child's school lives for spreading their opinions. Good parents DON'T DO THIS.
Forgot to mention, but I think you should be nominated for Dumbest Post 2012
This is the mentality of many teens; yet despite being young past generations managed to act responsibly and not be disrespectful all the time.
Ancient Greece called, they want their quotes back.
The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.

Ancient Greece called, they want their quotes back.
Leg-crossing and dainty-eating, the uppity behavior of the ancient world!
Ancient Greece called, they want their quotes back.
I guess I lived in some bizarre community, because where I grew up I actually was taught how to be responsible and respectful. I have seen the error of my ways and will now go and be a royal pain in the ass to make up for missed opportunities. /sarcasm
I guess I lived in some bizarre community, because where I grew up I actually was taught how to be responsible and respectful
guys i guess i must be weird or something because i'm great and awesome and everyone else sucks let me go on FP and post about how great i am listen to my parenting advice, maybe someday there will be a chance your kids will turn out as great as me!
Well certainly good and reasonable parents deserve respect, but parents are not by default deserving of respect.
I never said they are, but people claim that all kids' actions are justified and the fault of their parents. I have friends with bad and abusive parents that are amazing individuals, and I know people who have great parents and turn out to be assholes. You have to hold an individual accountable for their own actions, a teenager is old enough to think rationally even if they often do not. But I judge people based on their actions, not their parents
judging based on your actions, your parents never taught you the value of being humble.
I am not ashamed to say I dislike disrespectful people. If by saying I have greater respect for respectful people, I am not humble, then so be it.
I am not ashamed to say I dislike disrespectful people. If by saying I have greater respect for respectful people, I am not humble, then so be it.
no you're actually saying you like yourself because you are respectful and by doing that you're being a bit of a twat. plus respect is 100% overrated anyway. if we respected things we wouldn't break or abandon them which needs to happen to prevent society from being boring and old.
no you're actually saying you like yourself because you are respectful and by doing that you're being a bit of a twat. plus respect is 100% overrated anyway. if we respected things we wouldn't break or abandon them which needs to happen to prevent society from being boring and old.
So I am a twat because I pride myself on not being rude? Also I hardly think being respectful means you are boring, and you do not have to be rude or insulting to disagree with/go against an idea. I have yet to meet anyone who actually knows me who thinks I am a bad person or would describe me as a "twat"
So I am a twat because I pride myself on not being rude?
yeah
Also I hardly think being respectful means you are boring, and you do not have to be rude or insulting to disagree with/go against an idea.
you won't get rid of an idea by being polite to it.
I have yet to meet anyone who actually knows me who thinks I am a bad person would describe me as a "twat"
yeah that's because you're probably self-absorbed. i mean i don't even see what relevance you being respectful has to the thread.
you won't get rid of an idea by being polite to it.
Exactly.
yeah you won't get rid of an idea by being polite to it. yeah that's because you're probably self-absorbed. i mean i don't even see what relevance you being respectful has to the thread.
The point I made is that not all teens are disrespectful and the daughter should be held accountable for her actions. I can see that you have assumed that you know me and have decided that I am a bad person because I believe in respect and responsibility. You do make a good point though we are getting off topic so I will no longer debate this topic with you. After all you would never change my ideas because I am a "self-absorbed Twat" have a nice day
This man is a fucking boss.. If it was my dad, I'd work harder to make him proud. And holy shit, I do more house cleaning than that girl does and I don't complain at all. And I was the father.. I'd break her pc too. Well not with a gun, but anyway. That will teach her about respect, you don't bite the hand that feeds. woah woah what's with the internet warriors in here, chill.
This is the mentality of many teens; yet despite being young past generations managed to act responsibly and not be disrespectful all the time.
That statement is not true. The previous generation was bad, if not on par with us. Instead of "wanna-be" gangsters or "spoiled rich girls" you had "rebellious kids" who listened to "violent" rock music and in some cases neonazis who would harass minorities. You just didn't know about it since you didn't have mass media (the internet) reporting them like they do now about the current generation. [editline]11th February 2012[/editline]
Fuck her. I give her food, shelter, education and entertainment, she better be god damn grateful for it. I would really like to see how you feel when someone you love and care for turns back at you and spits at your face. You can only "get over it" for so long before something has to be done.
You should be grateful for the things that he offered you, however, that doesn't mean that you should agree with the punishment that he gave you for it. Sure, doing excessive things like this does "set them" straight and shapes their character. But it's the reason why most adults have little-to-no contact with their parents in retirement homes.
I can see that you have assumed that you know me and have decided that I am a bad person because I believe in respect and responsibility.
see this is what i was talking about. that's a really lame thing to say, and you're also judging people because they don't live up to your conception of respect and responsibility. having a daughter live up to actions is fine, but being a twat or a tit is something you learn because that's how kids learn. have a twat father and mother and you'll end up having a twat child if you don't change around them.

uh i don't know what how
On an upside of this story, it looks like his donate to MDA page has got a ton of donations. Even if you don't agree with his parenting style at least all this attention is helping muscular dystrophy.
Erm no, it's his property that he allowed her to use, in no way was it legally her property.
So wait, if i give someone say, a christmas preset, it's still mine? Allright, one second, gonna go reclaim all my shit.
Wow.
He's right. There is no valid reason for any civilian to own a firearm.
He's right. There is no valid reason for any civilian to own a firearm.
If not self-defense, then sport or target shooting. There's uses to firearms other than killing or harming people or animals.
He's right. There is no valid reason for any civilian to own a firearm.
is there a reason for any human being to own firearms anyhow? not really.
is there a reason for any human being to own firearms anyhow? not really.
Take it to mass debate.
is there a reason for any human being to own firearms anyhow? not really.
Snip, ninja.
Oh no my child insulted me. My feelings are hurt. I should shoot their computer. This dude is a straight up pussy.
Have you watched the video ? It's clearly not the first time her daughter does that kind of shit, he states it during the video. [editline]12th February 2012[/editline]
she sure should be grateful for something you're expected and obligated to give her !
Actually she should, because if a parent doesn't want to take care of a kid, he can just stop doing so and wait for child services to come and take the kid away. You are never 100% obligated to do anything, buddy. I know a guy who had the same mentality of "fuck that I'm young and that bitch has to give me what I want" and he ended up being kicked out of his home the day of his 18 years with no possible coming back. It shows well that if you piss off your parents, there is nothing else than their affection for you than can prevent them from kicking your ungrateful ass out the moment you turn legal.
If not self-defense, then sport or target shooting. There's uses to firearms other than killing or harming people or animals.
Go play a sport that doesn't involve a weapon specifically created to end peoples lives.
is there a reason for any human being to own firearms anyhow? not really.
Hum, yeah there is ? The world is dangerous, human beings are dangerous, you have to envisage the possibility that you will have to defend yourself once in your life, and a gun is the best, fastest way to defend yourself. If you believe banning firearms from civil life will solve more problems than it will cause, you are wrong and should burst your own bubble before someone does it for you. Now personally I think guns notably in the US should have much more regulation than at their current state, but I certainly don't think it should be completely prohibited to possess one. The criminals using firearms will still be able to get those through black market, people will just use other weapons such as knifes and tazers to do the job to defend themselves, etc.
