He's not the most interesting personality, neither is he a good example of a parent. I'm only here because the action he took was pretty badass.
Onto your point. A big part of my life is connecting with people, and the people who I have found it easiest to connect and understand are the ones I'm closest with.
Yes there are rough edges to my family, but as a whole, the individual is the one to bring the love into the equation.
Some don't have it better off to be so open with each other, that's probably an understatement.. In this day and age, people worry far too much about the menial things in their lives.
well i can agree with you there. however i feel love is not something that happens by chance, it is the participation of both parties and if the father wasn't such an asshole maybe they'd all be incredibly happy people
How can anyone applaud this cunt? She DARED to say something negative about her family and use her free speech rights and her property is DESTROYED? How is this "good parenting"? Good parents don't be immature and destroy people's property for daring to disagree with them. Good parents don't destroy their child's school lives for spreading their opinions. Good parents DON'T DO THIS.
Judging by the twang in his voice, he sounds like he's Texan. That's all you need to know.
because he was intending it as a gift at the end of her punishment period
instead she goes behind his back and posts this shit, so she clearly doesn't deserve the gift he had prepared.
But in the last seconds of the video you clearly see it in his face that he didn't spend that $130 out of kindness for his daughter, he keeps mentioning how she'll be grounded indefinitely for the rest of her years. He's obsessed with grounding her rather than solving the issues she clearly has with him.
I don't agree entirely with either of them tbh
Over-exaggeration all the way.
Seriously,he could have do something beneficial about the laptop, like give it to a homeless guy or a neighbor.

It's his property, she's 15 which means he is in charge, she doesn't have free speech so long as she is under the age of majority she lives under their rules' he bought the computer he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it.
The only thing I don't understand is making her get a job at 15/16, but then again I don't know how things are in America.
Where I live it's downright IMPOSSIBLE to get a job at that age, mostly because of no experience/qualification and school taking up 8 hours a day.
Just gonna leave my reply to the other thread:
I had fun watching it, but felt kinda bad for both the daughter and the dad.
Nobody wants their child grown wrong but sometimes circumstances outside your control happen and your kid turns "bad". I can understand his father probably tried punishing her before and talking but judging by the fact her "friends" thought her rebellious attitude was cool then they are probably part of the problem as well. Her friends probably encourage her or she feels "accepted" with them by acting rebellious and stupid.
His father was frustrated and he probably grew in a place where punishing goes in the lines of spanks and taking away things(or shooting them, heh) not talking it out. And he also mentioned a stepmother, divorce is rough for kids so we cant really know what the kid has gone thru that could have made her turn that way.
Sitting both the parents(mother and stepmother) and a psychiatrist would probably be the best solution, she probably can be talked out of her attitude if they spent a good time talking about it.
What the hell would a homeless guy do with a laptop?
Oh god, put NSFW tags on that video. That was a gruesome shooting.
So much brutality.
in before a load of losers on youtube videotape their faces and retard opinions onto youtube in response.
oh wooooops too late!
I didn't read the article, someone insult my intelligence!
Pretty much sums up exactly what I saw in this post ^
OT: I do agree with what her father did, the daughter sounds like a little shit, and I would have done the same thing.

Don't forget the obligatory woman with large breasts and an arrow pointing to them.
True american hero
absolutely
there should be more parents making news for actually being a parent.
while his case is a little extreme, it's got to be so that it can be significant in discussion nowadays.
Shooting the expensive hardware just to prove a point seems retarded to me. Take the laptop away or wipe the harddrive or something.
Some people got a buttload of money to throw around it seems... if it's always like this, I can see why the daughter turned out to be this obnoxious.
Some people also stick the newest technology into a Blender and post it on YouTube for shits and giggles, that seems to be quite popular.
My Point: He can do whatever the hell he wants to with something he purchased with his own money.

I doubt a laptop would have any more (if less) benefit to a homeless person than, say, a can of beans.
What the hell would a homeless guy do with a laptop?
Yeah, should've wiped the HDD and then sold it. Sold it to a place that she wouldn't be able to buy it back from. I get that this sends a strong message but it's kind of a waste of money.

her dad bought her the laptop
spent 130 bux fixing it up for HER
allows her to live in his house free of rent for very basic, minor chores done
she whines like she's a slave like you'd expect a 6 year old to do
this man isn't a cunt, his daughter is, how are you not seeing that he basically spoiled her and she's still being a cunt about it.

I doubt this guy is low on cash.
What the hell would a homeless guy do with a laptop?
Hell if i know, sell it or eat it perhaps?
I can sort of see where he's coming from, but I think he might have acted just a little bit impulsively. I think what he really needs to do is sit down and have a talk with her.

Free speech is there to protect people from the government, not so people can talk shit without consequences.
he basically spoiled her and she's still being a cunt about it.
maybe if he hadn't spoiled her she wouldn't be an asshole in the first bloody place
groan. I'm not sure that's how spoiling works, but whatever
I don't understand what's so awesome about this guy, I mean I don't disagree with his general opinion or anything, but all he did was shoot an inanimate object because he was pissed off with his daughter

You have no idea what the 1st amendment is for do you? Definitely not for angsty teens to complain about their family. Also, it is her father's laptop, he bought it; unless she paid for it, (which she didn't) then it is not her property. A child has no right to be disrespectful to their parents like that, and to disagree with that makes you seem like the type of person who would walk all over your own parents.

Because guns.

It shows that there is still good parenting out there a midst the retardation that seems to have taken over first world nations.

it didn't even make for a cool fucking video
bullets make little round holes in laptop on the ground. that's it. lame, waste of money etc.

He didn't shoot it out of anger, she shot to make a point.

Sorry, he was trying to make a point to his daughter, not entertain the populace at large like yourself :v:
