I'll be looking forward to the murder charges on the people who forced the mask on her.
1) I doubt they really forced the mask on her - the peer pressure accusation is likely an instinctual "NO MY KID IS PERFECT" reaction most parents have. 2) They're not going to put murder or even manslaughter charges on a bunch of kids who had an accident with helium.
The only time I see helium inhaled at parties is when everyone is drunk and there are a lot of balloons filled with helium, its pretty funny :v:
The only time I see VX gas inhaled at parties is when the party is subject to a massive WMD related terrorist attack. It's pretty funny to watch the drunk people enter into rapid muscle contractions and then die.
sometimes I inhale nitrous, it makes your voice funny and it gets you high
that stuff can actually be dangerous since it stays in your lungs
large deep breathes will push it out
You know, it's that thing you see at tv when they inhale into those kid balloons and they get really high pitched voice, that's helium, I guess they didn't know the risk.
There's a risk with inhaling helium?
once I passed out because I inhaled to much helium.
There's a risk with inhaling helium?
It suppresses oxygen and sometimes lingers behind in your lungs for a couple of breath takes. Normally with a canister+mouthpiece like this, you pass out. I don't know what caused her 'clog' or whatever though. They should've bought a canister of nitrous-oxide instead, at least that kills you with a high instead of a high voice. And besides, when I did nitrous-oxide with my friends we put those small canisters you screw into a whipped cream can into a nozzle and straight into a balloon (sometimes 2 for a longer 'rush'). If you do balloons the dose is way more controlled and the amount of gas halves every time you breathe instead of fresh new gas every breath take.
Her family has set up a foundation, Ashley's Hope, to spread the word about the dangers of inhaling helium.
uh
