YA!
Bawww majority of the people in that state don't like gay marriage. As a conservative, I don't like the liberal policies in my state, but the majority of the people here still vote for them, so I don't bitch.
The government doesn't hold the authority to tell the people who they can and cannot marry. You are conservative, so you should probably work on figuring out how that whole Republican thing works. You don't like big government. Note my wording there, you don't like big government. PERIOD. It's not that you don't like big LIBERAL government. You don't like large federal government of *any* kind. As such you aren't necessarily supposed to AGREE with every practice, but you aren't supposed to pass LAWS preventing them from happening. That is contrary to how the party is supposed to function. The entire point of the party is to retain FREEDOMS. Not the other way around. Oh forget it, just get out of my country. You obviously have no idea what freedom means.
I don't understand these people. They call healthcare reform an oppression on liberty and freedoms, but they oppose all these things which are supposed to be "liberties". Don't you love right-wing populism?

They say that the healthcare reform is going to take their liberties and freedom yet in reality, it would ease the burden of worrying about one's healthcare. There are plenty of indoctrinated right wing individuals.
Yeah, lol. They say that the healthcare reform is going to take their liberties and freedom yet in reality, it would ease the burden of worrying about one's healthcare. There are plenty of indoctrinated right wing individuals.
like you
like you
I'm not a right wing fundamentalist conservative. What's your political view?
Gah. This is why religion should stay far away from politics.
I'm not a right wing fundamentalist conservative. What's your political view?
yeah you are Communist.
You can't let people vote on other people's rights. If they had done this during the Civil Rights Movement blacks would still not have rights.
yeah you are Communist.
Why are you so militant against me. We share the same ideology? I'm not against giving homosexuals the same rights as married couples, broseph.
just ignore everything you don't personally like in your magic book that tells you all the answers in life you know better than the god you claim to believe in!
fuck off religion is up to personal interpretation as long as he doesn't believe in the stupid shit that impedes upon others' rights there's no reason to harass him for believing in a deity [editline]09:47PM[/editline]
Why are you so militant against me.
Why are you so militant against me. We share the same ideology? I'm not against giving homosexuals the same rights as married couples, broseph.
you're not a communist. You're a Stalinist. and an idiot and?
fuck off religion is up to personal interpretation as long as he doesn't believe in the stupid shit that impedes upon others' rights there's no reason to harass him for believing in a deity
eat a dick, ignoring huge parts of a book that you base your religious views on is incredibly dumb but i guess you know better than the people that your religious book of choice says were directly talking to god.
it's fuckers like you that make us conservatives look like anti-gay anti-semitic dicks this news is asinine to say the least
they are, though
eat a dick, ignoring huge parts of a book that you base your religious views on is incredibly dumb but i guess you know better than the people that your religious book of choice says were directly talking to god.
i don't believe anything that's in the bible; if someone wants to believe in a god without playing into all of the negative baggage and old societal morays values etc that he carries then good for them. Personally I think individual thought is refreshing, it's exactly what christianity discourages in my experience, so those that question are those that are more likely to be religiously moderate and more likely to be tolerable than the normal rightists as crazy as it seems there actually are positive aspects of religions, and if you don't associate yourself with the negative aspects then you're cool [editline]10:33PM[/editline] belief in a deity without the bigotry = cool I personally don't agree but what the fuck do I know I don't think we're ever going to find out how exactly the universe started, and am currently having difficulty choosing between string theory and subatomic particles
What a backwards state.
Well technically, at least they even tried it. Better than most states can say.
they aren't though if they were following the teachings of their religion to the letter, they would never eat shellfish (Leviticus 11:11) and the women would sacrifice a pair of pigeons at the end of each menstrual period (Leviticus 15:29-30)
That did make me laugh, but that is the old testament law, the law Jesus freed us from.
That did make me laugh, but that is the old testament law, the law Jesus freed us from.
no god dammit. why don't you understand your own religion? “For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV) "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB) "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB) "Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." (2 Peter 20-21 NAB) “Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law" (John7:19) and “For the law was given by Moses,..." (John 1:17). “...the scripture cannot be broken.” --Jesus Christ, John 10:35
