Well, let' see, why would they want to? Well, for starters, the President of Iran considers the United States and the U.N. to be "the Greater and Lesser Satan of the world" respectively. He's also [I]completely [/I]batshit insane, and has stated repeatedly that he wants to "wipe Israel from the face of the Earth," which happens to be an ally of America. The recent political turmoil has done wonders to back him into a corner, and is more than enough reason to start WWIII before he gets overthrown.
North Korea on the other hand wouldn't have a problem with wanting to, since we've been technically[I] at war[/I] for the last half-century or so. That, and Kim Jong Il is completely batshit insane as well(and possibly terminally ill from Pancreatic Cancer, another reason to kick-start a global conflict before he kicks the can.
So the reasons that they want to fight the First World? Varied, but mostly because Iran and the N.K.'s leaders are [I]insane[/I], among other things.

I doubt Iranian nukes are going to be used for anything besides a deterrent. The goal of the iranian state isn't to 'kill as many infidels as you can' (if it was it would be much more involved in the middle east then it is now), it's to safeguard the nationalist revolution. The reasons for their conflict with us aren't any different from what they were in 1978, self-determination and resisting foreign empires.

I believe that Iran will try to nuke Israel. The leader (cant remember at the moment) has already said the holocaust never happened, which is the reason for Israels existence.
Either Israel will go for another strike (They attacked a nuclear plant or something similar once before)
The US will step in
or Israel will launch causing who knows what with every country.
This isn't comparable to Korea. Korea was Kim trying to get into the nuclear club. Iran may just actually use the missile.

Its not like the Cold war where just having more than the other guy was it. We (US) used nuclear weapons on Japan to end the war and keep US soldiers from having to invade. The world then saw the huge destructive power of such weapons and decided that use of said weapons would mean a nuclear counterattack, also known as Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD).
Iran essentially wants Israel off the map. What better way then nuclear arms.
Maybe they just want to be a nuclear power. Who knows...

Some newspaper dug up some paperwork to do with aquiring like some kind of "nuclear inhibitor" or some shit. A part that, other than being a mighty expensive paperweight, has no other possible use than triggering a nuclear explosion. There is absolutely 0% doubt that they are building nuclear weapons, anyone that thinks otherwise is a fool.

In all seriousness, why would Iran say "lets bomb israel?" Even though the President of Iran is crazy, he is not stupid(okay, maybe since he believes the whole 2012 bullshit). Plus, Iran has almost 0 allies, and Russia might not tolerate a country nuking another country, so if Iran does nuke a country, chances are that Iran will get annihilated by every 1st, 2nd, and maybe some 3rd world countries.
