sorry dude, tornados are just part of the summer weather around here. after enough of them you get desensitized. i used to be terrified of them as a kid

I can see what he's getting at though. Whenever one touches down near me I flip shit, but at the same time I find myself outside looking for it instead of being in my basement.

Yea, It's been pretty bad. The sirens haven't been used in decades, but they work.
My dad(~60) says it hasn't been this active as long as he can remember.
This isnt tuscaloosa, but the weather has been building up for the whole last 2 days, finally unloading in multiple tornadoes.
I guess there are more mobilians on FP than I thought.

It's supposed to cut a swath right across the Northeast, smash through New England and into Southern Ontario.
We got 30-40 cm dumped on us late last week, so everyone's prepping for another big fall.
