Mmurica strikes again :downs:
The federal government needs to crack down on this, with such a ferocity that whatever person wrote the Student Pregnancy Policy will be needing a metal plate to patch up their skull, before they rewrite the damn thing to be sensible and not horrible.
A charter school is like private school that is free from most regulations a public school would have to follow (such as test scores, curriculum, methods of teaching). They get public funding though but I guess this school is being "different" from "regular" public schools by having private school style policies (you would probably find the same pregnancy policy at a christian private high school).
Not even Christian public schools could legally force pregnancy tests on you and couple it with reasons to kick you out. In the same way an employer can't force you to take a pregnancy test either.
Charter schools are weird.
Mmurica strikes again :downs:
Because everyone in america agrees with-- Oh wait no they don't. Pull your head out of your ass.
What about false positives, or if they were raped?
They were asking for it. EDIT: The people who use that argument fill me with the most incredible levels of absolute rage. I hope one of them's online now because I'm going to punch through my monitor and hope it comes out of theirs. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline]
Worst case scenario, they get to go to a better school?
I believe it says that there's no other schools in the area or something?
