They are probably launching cruise missiles shortly before (or after) expiration date which they would eventually dump into the ocean eventually or something.
I really don't care where your from, just having some disagreements with some idiotically broad statements.
If you don't care about Syria, then why are you in this discussion in the first place? But to be honest, it's not just you. Most people here don't give a single fuck about the country and talk like they know everything. While someone that's from Syria, tries to tell them what is actually going on, gets called as a liar. I am just going to end the discussion here, because this has happened before multiple times in threads about Syria. I am not saying you or everyone else here is an idiot, I am just trying to tell you guys the truth. I never disrespected anyone, yet you guys disrespect me. Therefore end of discussion.
Soo an unnamed US official said that RUSSIAN missles fell on IRAN territory... All we need now is confirmation from ZIMBABVE intelligence, and the day is done. Seriously, is there any confirmation besides fabled anonymous person? Maybe should've added to headline - "according to US official" ?
maybe not because it's in the article [editline]8th October 2015[/editline] Well Iran officially denies it http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13940716001057
If you don't care about Syria, then why are you in this discussion in the first place?
he didn't imply he didn't care about Syria, he just said he doesn't give a shit about this "i'm from country X i know better than you" crap you're trying to pull
Did they buy the missiles from North Korea?
he didn't imply he didn't care about Syria, he just said he doesn't give a shit about this "i'm from country X i know better than you" crap you're trying to pull
Let's be honest if all Syrians were to die today, none of you would give a shit. Because if you guys cared so much, you would have protested against it. You would have tried to help to stop your governments making terrorist groups and spreading bullshit news. Even worse part is that you guys believe everything that the news says, "Assad killed his own people, a random US official says" Literally if the news posted that, you all would believe it. Anyway, I am just going to end here.
so far only news agencies outside of Iran are reporting it happened, all of the agencies inside or close to Iran government are denying it. I wonder why the newspapers in a country that has a record of censorship and media manipulation are reporting that the strategic partner and biggest ally of said country did nothing wrong.... :hammered: [editline]8th October 2015[/editline]
Let's be honest if all Syrians were to die today, none of you would give a shit. If you insist you're the exception then you're just that: an exception. The popular forum discussions regarding this conflict are geopolitical, it's all about who is bombing who and who took which city, the only time anyone ever brings up something not related to the territorial status of the war it's to say how bad the syrian refugees coming to their country are, and how they should not be there. People here legitimately don't care here, the lot of them Syria is just a color coded map with factional control borders for most people. It can't necessarily be expected for it to be any more than that to those people, but it's quite shallow for someone like that to form opinions on the conflict when they're likely misguided or completely unaware of the unreported things of the war that make it far more complicated than a fight of moderates vs saa vs isis vs russia

hey guys i can predict the future "woops i accidentally declared war on a country and nuked it but it was on accident so it was ok"

Iran/Iraq must have given them permission. Russia wouldn't fire cruise missiles through a nations airspace without clearing it first. I'm also guessing any missiles deployed and ready in the Caspian sea would be pretty trash, might as well fire them before they need to be scrapped. Old munitions failing isn't exactly much of a story, especially considering even the Royal Navy have had mishaps when trying to fire missiles at Libya 4 years ago.

Putin: "This was an unfortunate accident, and I would like to apologize to our ally." 5 minutes later "SOMEBODY IS GOING TO THE GULAG"
Oh yes of course because YOU are the one from Syria not me. My bad sir, all this time I thought it was me, sorry.
You are not from the US therefore you cannot say anything about the US [editline]8th October 2015[/editline] See I finally understand it now
I am not home yet, but yesterday I read what has been happening around there, also I am from Syria and I know which news is actually trusted. Anyways, yesterday I read that all missles had successfully hit the targets, day later western bullshit news reports that they hit Iran. Why in the world would they do that?
You know which news you trust. I'm sorry but where you come from doesn't change the legitimacy of your claims.

This is depressing and above all, not interesting to discuss in the slightest. Wow, what a revelation, people don't talk about stuff that is impossible to even discuss, what kind of arguments can you have? I swear every time I see your posts it's some grand revelation on how everyone is racist and xenophobic. I've seen weak arguments in support of that kind of claims, but "you don't talk about suffering of the people!" is something else entirely.
That's some pretty rapid succession.
you could say that about russia's "accidents" and fuckups
Look you all believing this bullshit, another bullshit report by western news.
Crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal? [editline]8th October 2015[/editline]
These types of accidents happen all the time with every military.
Most other militaries don't fire missiles that should be accurate within a few hundred meters at worst and miss by literally an entire country and then some.

[editline]8th October 2015[/editline] Most other militaries don't fire missiles that should be accurate within a few hundred meters at worst and miss by literally an entire country and then some.
Considering they were firing the missiles over Iran, some of the missiles probably misfired and crashed shortly after launch.
it's most likely that they didn't miss, it's probable that ISIS has moved into Iranian territory, I mean do you really think Russia missed by that much of a margin?
Probably just an engine failure, didn't believe it at first because the source was Fox News, then Daily Caller posted about it and added their typical banter. I finally saw some pictures and looks pretty clear that unless ET had a few too many beers, chances are a few cruise missiles had failures. Iran gave Russian permission to launch over their territory, and both will gladly cover for each other.
it's most likely that they didn't miss, it's probable that ISIS has moved into Iranian territory, I mean do you really think Russia missed by that much of a margin?
maybe they were hitting the pkk
Oops

If you insist you're the exception then you're just that: an exception.
people here don't care about syria because it is some far off country they'll never actually interact with, not because the people are brown. if syrians were white, there would still be the same level of apathy
Well, looking at the position the missiles were launched from and the flight path they did take it might've been an actual accident.
But 4 of them? Either this is complete bullshit, Russia's equipment REALLY is terrible, or Russia's actually just... shit, with their military. I'd believe all 3
people here don't care about syria because it is some far off country they'll never actually interact with, not because the people are brown. if syrians were white, there would still be the same level of apathy
Xenophobia doesn't necessarily mean racism by the way. It's a dislike or not caring of people you don't consider a part of your group, typically your nation, AKA Syria right now.
