And Munt says it'll result in worse jam... Arguing against the lowered restrictions.
Which means she's arguing for less healthy jam...
Which means I was right.

Jam's consistency comes from the pectin and, in rare cases, gelatin added during the cooking process.
You said they were 'increased regulations' when in fact they're more relaxed
You seem to know your shit about jam though, I don't want to argue with this guy
They may take your jam, but they can never take... Your slam.
Its just like the time the EU threatened the British Sausage.

I used to can jams and jellies with my grandmother, you pick up a few things. I tend to stick to preserves now, though, and they don't require Pectin or Gelatin.
i cut out the middle man a long time ago. Now I just through sugar on some toast and chomp down.
We cut out the middleman by making our own jam.
Why are they even attempting this?
You guys could always take a detour to the cooking thead, and ask them how to make jam and peanutbutter.
Nothing tastes better than fresh jam made with good fruit! :D
I disagree. Frozen strawberry preserves taste better than everything. Ever.
Nutella is better than jam anyways
Nutella is better than jam anyways
But what about having both!
Nothing beats a nutella and strawberry jam sandwich!

Also this heresy mustn't be allowed to pass; jams and marmalades are meant to be thick and long-lasting, and all this legislation means is that we'll fucking import proper jam and marmalade from the continent whilst the shite "anti-jams" rot on the fucking shelves.
Biscoff Spread, Nutella, on Biscoff Cookies.
I will let your mind explode now.
I love that moment when you bite into something with nutella and as soon as you taste the delicious spread you realize that nutella is really overrated.
holy shit i'm not the only one who has this experience?
They have the technology.
