That is freaking bizarre, out of all the adults in the church a 4 year old gets the stray bullet. I guess, we still don't completely understand how things happen in the world.
Wow. What a fucking dumbass. Calling it now: The shooter is a drunk redneck. Good old America; always giving high-powered weapons out to any hick that wants one :911:
Around here, its Mexicans that shoot their guns into the air, but I don't think Atlanta has too many of those.
I'm questioning and your using logical fallacies becuase you can't come up with good reasoning. I would love to know how it would work, but so far it isn't adding up. Come reply to me when you can speak something other than drivel.
:words: Don't argue with me, I'm not pretending to understand the technicals of the situation, mail the Atlanta PD and ask them.
I honestly want to know what the chances are of this.
Don't argue with me, I'm not pretending to understand the technicals of the situation, mail them and ask them.
I'm clearly not when I said don't respond to me unless you are going to speak anything other than drivel. I'm presenting the question to the forum and if you don't like my question then ignore it or respond to it adequately.
Guess god must have really hated that kid. I bet he was jewish.
Accidents happen; lol at all the butthurt people in this thread, lighten up and crack a joke.
Officially the longest kill shot in history.
Actually your wrong. Plenty of people have been killed from as far as 70 miles away (Paris gun, V-1 V-2 rockets etc)
Gods probably sitting up there with his sniper rifle right now. Plotting his next victim.
Hey, what's this red dot on my de-
Actually your wrong. Plenty of people have been killed from as far as 70 miles away (Paris gun, V-1 V-2 rockets etc)
Hehe... True. But I'm talking small arms.
It's sort of hard to see that happening since lots of people fire guns into the air in new years eve, and it was two miles away. Unless they get those guys from CSI. Man those guys can solve any crime.
Yea, they'd measure the angle that the bullet came into the church from and calculate the trajectory to the location where it was fired with a margin of error less than 12 inches.
Yea, they'd measure the angle that the bullet came into the church from and calculate the trajectory to the location where it was fired with a margin of error less than 12 inches.
Zoom and Enhance! De-crop!
Well then you're arguing with their conclusion, mail them and stop spreading false ballistics information on the web.
I am arguing with their conclusion, mailing them would take too long and too much effort when I could probably get a adequate answer from this forum (hopefully). I'm not spreading false ballistics i'm just presenting what I know, i'm not forcing it down anyones throat and telling them it's fact. I'm probably going to give you the last word on your next reply, this isn't going anywhere and i've fully explained myself.
This is why you only shoot your goddamn guns when they're pointed at a safe, sturdy backstop like a big hill of dirt. Jesus christ, people, it's not hard to practice proper firearms discipline. Poor kid, his family must feel terrible for it to have happened in such a place.
Child "Momy I hate church I wanna go home" Mom "Shut up and sit down" Child"FI-" Mom " OH MY GOD!" (God)"Lil Bastard got what he deserved! *Looks over to his friend* How'd I do?

Thanks, We value your opposing opinions on facts. The most logical explanation is the best explanation. I doubt some ninja with xray vision blew some little kid's head open through the church roof. Just because you don't understand the specifics of how it happened, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I felt bad, until I saw the photo. Then I fucking felt worse. The kid's smiling and is all like "What a happy world that I love." Boom headshot :( Also AK47? :jihad:
Didn't Mythbusters disprove something like this? Maybe I'm remembering the episode wrong.
Didn't Mythbusters disprove something like this? Maybe I'm remembering the episode wrong.
That is shooting STRAIGHT up.. This was shot at an angle, thus being far more deadly.
That is shooting STRAIGHT up.. This was shot at an angle, thus being far more deadly.
Ah, okay, makes sense. Thanks.
Ah, okay, makes sense. Thanks.
Yeah, it has more velocity going down from an angle.

Just because you don't understand the specifics of how it happened, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Clearly my position is that a ninja with xray vision assassinated some random black kid. I don't know if I understand the entire situation or not, which is why im questioning the forum, I didn't think this was hard to understand, but for some dense morons it seems it is. Certainly you don't understand the specifics of the situation or you would be able to explain how the story is even possible.
Death from above
that's having bad luck. How high can a bullet travel before it turns around?
Uhh the bullet didnt go straight up. If you shoot straight up, the bullets velocity will be limited by the aerodynamics of the bullet. But if you shoot at an angle its a whole different story. An 8 gram ak47 bullet can travel many miles if you shoot at 45 degree angle. After just 2 miles, if definitelly can be deadly.
It was fired up. It came down at least 2-3x faster than when it was shot.
I don't know if I should either laugh or cry. Even if the bullet had zero aerodynamic drag, if would still drop only at the same velocity as it was shot. And no, even if the aerdyn drag would be 0, the bullet would have to be fired at least 11,2 km/s so that it wouldn't come back to earth at all.
