really guys did no one actually read this "Many of these products previously had separate terms that were called different names, such as “Xbox Live Terms of Use” or “Skype Terms of Use,” and these Terms replace those separate terms. You accept these Terms by creating a Microsoft account or Skype account, through your use of the Services, or by continuing to use the Services after being notified of a change to these Terms." it's pretty obvious that this was from the xbox live ToU and they'll really only do it on the xbox one
Reading through the Windows 10 operating system user terms, I have to agree. Maybe I'm seeing an older version of it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Useterms/Retail/Windows/10/UseTerms_Retail_Windows_10_English.htm but I'm not seeing the statement in OP's quote in there. The statement is in section 1.7 of the Xbox live terms of use, however: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Legal/LiveTOU
Well red hat based distros are huge in many sectors. I was just suggesting actual Debian over Ubuntu. Or any other Debian base.
I don't get why. Ubuntu still has a larger community than vanilla debian.
I don't get why. Ubuntu still has a larger community than vanilla debian.
Biggest community isn't everything though? Arch also has a big community, the repositories are filled with packages and if you add the AUR on top of the official repos you can install almost anything through your package manager (even stuff like Minecraft or Steam, or git/svn versions of other packages). And of course you get to install your entire OS yourself which does take a lot of effort, but is also a great learning experience and you get to know your system to a pretty low level.
Good luck.
Mannn... Don't go the Ubuntu route. Pick a real distro.
Fuck no, if you're a beginner, do go down the Ubuntu road, just don't use the default one, pick XUbuntu or LUbuntu.
