Even assuming they had enough transport ships to ferry the required supplies for an invasion, they'd not even begin to counter the USN and USAF. Basically it isn't a lack of balls so much as a lack of boats. The US can show up wherever it wants, whenever it wants. That is why the USN is given such ridiculous sums of money. If other nations had the funding and inclination to build such a navy, you could be quite sure that they would act almost exactly as the United States does.

I don't belive David Cameron hates Obama with a fiery pasion to attack the United States. Politcal common knowledge incoming relations with the US and the UK are really good and really the only countries that would go to "war" is just most of the Islamic Middle Eastern contries and the like GunFox said they have no means or industrial production to get here. Iran could nuke us , but the US has counter measures.

Anyone who would actually launch a nuke against the US would do so regardless of US actions. The idiot who launches that nuke would have to be legally insane. There is no reasonable course of events where you launch a nuke at the US and successfully cripple the ability of the US to retaliate. Even if you manage to turn the entirety of the US into a smoking hole, you'd still be retaliated against by US nuclear weapons.

The reason everyone is scared because of the cold war where the US and Russia had an assload amount of nukes and yes theres no way in hell there going to stop all of them, but explain to me why every country wants to send a nuke I see no UK terriost going to America. Also US and Russia relations are greatly improved after the cold war.

The boost phase is basically right out of the launch tube or rail. The stuff that can intercept it after that simply cannot feasibly cover the entirety of the United States. Though that said, I wouldn't be surprised if New York and DC sported a firebase for that purpose. But the systems are still somewhat unreliable.

Why does this even matter? I doubt Obama even reads all the emails that are sent to him, it's probably done by assistants.

If the US ever got nuked, it'd be fucked, but it's a sort of "you're going down with me" scenario, so if the US is nuked, even wiped out, its nukes are going to be automatically sent out likewise.
