You're talking to him, not me, right?
I was, but you commented on my comment on his comment, saying im ignorant, while really you should have actually read my post, and my quote, and see that he was saying, get it from isp, OR he didn't delete his history and the FBI went trough it, so I said that they can't do that because he lives in the UK.
I do think this is all outrageous. I mean a kid gets banned from a country just cause he said Obama was a " prick in an email. Yet Obama himself called Kanye West a "jackass" on live television. And all he gets is to say an apology. WTF?
Seriously, you can't penalize a kid who says the truth. Obama may be president, but hes also a citizen like us too, and we should start treating him like one.
So this "vitriolic email full of abusive and threatening language" only called him a prick?

But Kanye West is a jackass

That was such a long run-on sentence I barely got the gist of it.
The "ignorant" comment refers to Americans who think we call ham Canadian bacon (or other variations of that myth), not you.
It just seemed like your post implied some sort of conspiracy hacking from the FBI ("HOW DID THEY GET HIS STUFF HUH??") more than denying it, sorry.
might be late, but freedom of speech =/= using vulgar language directed at someone.

No problem, all cool :glomp:
Surely Obama gets his fair share of hate mail, being the president of the United States. I'm surprised this one in particular got so much attention.
I'm surprised they took it seriously :v:
Bye freedom of speech. :sigh:
You can't threaten people. That has always been illegal.
Making threats against the president is even a specific crime:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threatening_the_President_of_the_United_States
A Class D felony with a minimum prison sentence of five years and a maximum of ten.
Why is it illegal to insult the president?
It's illegal to threaten the president.
Which, you know, was in the title of the article I linked.
With the amount of people in here going 'HURR FREE SPEECH HURR', I'm seriously fearing for the future.
Good to know this is what the FBI spends their time with...
Who wants to go to USA anyway?
Canada is way cooler.
Let's not try to stop terrorists, let's try to stop random teenagers from coming to the US! :downs:

It has been a decade since the last terrorist attack in the US.
They just rooted out and captured a pack of Russian spies.
The FBI is doing its job just fine, thanks.
In the future he's going to be like "Hey I feel like visiting the United States" and then he's going to be like "oh wait :frown:"
Angel is a girls name. :colbert:
How did the FBI know that he was searching up information on the Illuminati prior to emailing?
Do they keep logs of everything we do online? :ohdear:
Google keeps logs of what you do online in any of their services and can give them to government authorities of the country you reside in.

Obama has a firewall in real life.
I wouldn't call being banned from the US "Ruining your life"
Maybe if all of your friends and family lived there and didn't want to move with you or something crazy. But this guy doesn't even live in America. I'm sure he doesn't give a shit.

Some people think they're protected 100% by the law, like they have some sort of right to do whatever the fuck they want.
That's actually really damn harsh. A permanent ban from ever entering a high developing, large and strongly populated major country over a hate mail is taking it really far.
There must be something else that would have caused this steep decision.
If I knew I was permanently banned from ever entering the United States of America with no possible renege, then that's pretty much my life done with.
You give us too much credit. We're a lousy country, trust me. Just look up "Chicago South Side". You'll see what I mean.
Bye freedom of speech. :sigh:
This shit is stupid as fuck. Said before, being drunk and high probably means he said a lot more than just insults. Threatening the president in any way is an FBI related matter no matter which way you slice it.
I could go as far to even say laws do not apply to the president but that's not what I'm trying to say, the Secret Service was made to protect the president any way they can regardless of who/what it is.
Send your threats in.

I also feel its worth noting the President probably never even saw his emails

You've been here for two years and haven't noticed your user history? It says it was for an hour.
