Malaysia Airlines: Crash site in Ukraine goes neglected as bodies decompose

I'm not on anyone's side here, but seriously you expect the Separatists to clean up a wreckage of an aircraft? I don't think you guys know how hard it would be to clean up and find all the bodies. It doesn't help that Ukraine is putting pretty good pressure on them.
Regardless this is still terrible that this is happening.
I find it kinda funny however that people are all in support of Western Ideals and relations with the West, in revolutions but as soon as a revolution in favor of Russia breaks out, people are immediately against it. Just goes to show... Nationalism I guess? I don't know what's the right word here.
However, then again, this revolution may have started with more "Noble" intentions of people just protesting against a government they dislike, but this has grown into something much worse.
My two cents.

Malaysia and the Netherlands asked the locals not to touch anything. You can't blame them now for letting the bodies decompose. They were noble enough to collect the passports to help with the identification.
Just look at the facts. If Ukraine really did it, it would be in the rebels' best interest to allow access to the wreckage. Instead, a member of the militia known as 'Grumpy' seems intent on stopping anyone going near, and allowing bodies to be looted. They did it. I'm certain.
fuck all the other nationalities on that plane
also nice shitpost!
Did you go to work today only to hear stories about people losing friends because some idiot thought an airliner was a military aircraft? This shit's a lot more personal when you actually notice it's impact on your daily life.

Wait really? Source?
Wait really? Source?
It's in the OP
People who loot stuff from dead people are animals.
idk, I don't think stealing from dead people is really worse than stealing from living ones.
It's still pretty bad but far from animal imo.
If I recall, the rebels can't do anything with the bodies because all of the morgues in their territory are full due to the ongoing shelling and fighting. I believe that the original plan was for them to be sent to Kharkiv but until there is some sort of agreement between the rebels and the government forces it's going to be difficult to extricate them.
Pile them up and burn them. Their bodies likely won't be going their home country, and their bodies are mangled and strewn for public display. If they can't properly bury them, then at least funeral pyre them so no disease/animals start going on them.
Fucked up i know, but what else can they do?

Not interfere with the crash site and allow the proper authorities to do their jobs.
Of course, that'd be reasonable, and as we know, we're dealing with unreasonable people.
Everyone is waiting for the 'proper authorities', and nothing gets done.
Why can't a coalition of countries that had their citizens in the plane just hotdrop some special forces in the area to clear out the rebels and secure the crash site? If Ukraine agrees, it would be the best solution.

Because they'd get shot down.

I've got to admit that it's a pretty convincing argument.
The Dutch are angry because the bodies are being moved into a morgue.

We're angry because they're being moved to a morgue in donetsk (we think, we don't know for sure), so far they've moved 130+ bodies there, or wherever they're moving them.

Where do they get moved? There probably isn't enough morgue space anywhere near where this happened.

Would you prefer they rot in the sun?

We don't know where they are, that's the problem.

I would prefer they get moved to Ukrainian territory, not rebel occupied territory. Right now we have no idea where the remains are or what's done with them. We don't know which group of rebels has them and we don't know if they plan on getting them back to us. The people that shot down the plane and killed all those people are the ones collecting the bodies and moving them god knows where, do you not see why we might have a problem with that?

By your own words, being moved into Ukranian territory clearly doesn't seem to be an option, seeing as the seperatists are the ones crawling all over the site. Therefore the option only remains to either rot in the sun, or be picked up by rebels.
I'm sure that, by the time the authorities arrive, nothing will be left but bones.

Only one solution, shell the crash site and remove the separatists.

Do you get paid to shitpost?
I've got to admit that it's a pretty convincing argument.
Then they'd proceed to have the entire brunt of whatever country who owned said aircraft that they shot down brought to bear against them, they'd might as well be signing their own death warrants if they shot down a NATO aircraft.
Unless of course NATO decides to keep pussyfooting around the situation as usual.

Whatever you do, please don't enter politic and become Canada's Minister of Defence.

And destroy the wreckage and bodies in the process?
Apparently traitors have taken away nearly 200 of the bodies:

About 200 bodies have been placed onto refrigerated rail cars.

I guess the rebels aren't horrible body desecraters afterall!
