Am I the only person who was depressed when the humans lost? I was rooting for them (US) the whole time. When Quaritch said "how does it feel to betray your race?" he was painted like a selfish monster, but in reality, sully was betraying all of humanity and not just the violent mercenaries.

The Earth where he had lived, the Company he worked for. When he got to Pandora he was free in ways he'd never imagined. So yeah, I'd betray humanity for all that.
