They must REALLY be basement dwellers if we're unanimously agreeing that they are.
I wasn't sad when it ended at all i was more mindblowen in a great way because the movie was so amazing and it's my first real 3d movie.
I had suicidal thoughts of shame when I realized I think Neytiri was hot.
Found her hot, but only cause i'm an 18 year old virgin basement dweller that'd practically fuck anything female.
Pandora was NOT THAT FANTASTIC.
Damn.
Hey look guys it's secretly been the third Twilight movie the whole time
I read to the point that I decided that watching this movie can cause schizophrenia.
Meh. Avatar sucked IMO.
Sounds very familiar to Project Digiclipse if you ask me....
lets hold our digivices to the skies and be transported away from this evil capitalist world to the glorious peoples republic of the digital world!
This was me as soon as i stepped out of the theatre, and i had a strong urge to play oblivion, because the world in it is so beautiful.
I can somewhat relate to them. This because I was already depressed long before watching that movie, and because it is not the only movie that makes me feel that way. I love horror flicks, because I am depressed and watching someone else who's worse of than me makes me feel better about my life. Movies such as Avatar has the opposite effect on me, it makes me feel worse because I'm watching someone who's better of than me. It's basically the opposite of schaudenfreude.
I feel the same about music!
movie is good.. but for real? its like asking that Sera is real..
Or that Cliffy B isn't a robot.
Damn. Now, I'm a liberal guy, and I appreciate the message Avatar had (even though it was fucking Dances with Space Wolves), but these guys are sad.
It takes a lot of stupidity from people like this to actually bring the words "stupid fucking hippies" into my train of thought.
I empathize with these people. It may seem a little dramatic but not many/none people nowadays have witnessed a "Perfect" world like Pandora.
I mean, I wouldn't mind to live there... if I could actually LIVE there, if you get what I mean.
Still, being realistic, commiting suicide over a film is bad for your health.
They should visit the OTHER Pandora
[sp] Ahem, Borderlands[/sp]

I think getting sucidal over it is going a tad overboard.
Is that man holding a fucking box of pizza?
Media is famous for making a big deal of nothing.
Hm. That's interesting. I've theorized before that this is the sort of condition that creates furries, and that's their way of coping with the reality of the thing.

Come on dude she is really hot. Don't pretend you've ever even been within a hundred feet of hotness like that.
Hell yeah! I'm like... 99% gay and she's one of the only chicks I would go straight for. :v:
Probably just cause of Deb's character being so awesome, or something, but I still think she's pretty attractive.
Good lord, some people have such weak minds.

I'd say
Perfect bone structure
Dude I thought people grew out of being depressed like this.
And then I saw furries.
Frankly I was on the humans side.
That general dude is the king of badasses.
Pandora wasn't even that impressive of a fantasy world. All SPESSIAL EFFECTZZZ and shit, not that much culture or worldbuilding. Middle-earth was better (but then again books don't have CUTTING EDGE SPECIAL EFFECTS)...
Trust me, somewhere on the internet there will be a forum full of people who wish they were in middle earth. It's hardly uncommon or original.
I mean, christ, FP led a crusade against some poor group of kids on a forum who thought the digimon world was real a couple of years ago. And there's a popular forum for people who think they have real life super powers.
It's almost a Rule 34, for any fictional world there will be a group of deranged people who think either a) it is real, or b) they want to commit suicide because they want to live there so much.

The part where he just casually realises his arm is on fire is hilarious.
Except we will have to send them a post card, because we can't fucking reach those 32889432738472 billion stars.
I don't stand a chance in hell of ever owning a penthouse apartment in Dubai, doesn't mean I can't enjoy thinking about it, and it doesn't mean that one of my ancestors can't eventually.
Just a side note, in australia your not even allowed to take cameras into theaters because of anti piracy things.. but in the picture on the news article..

Why does that person have a camera, on a tripod?
More importantly, how did they take a picture of that camera, with no camera.
Loving the guy eating the pizza though.
Robert Pattinson must be laughing at this.
The fact is that as with all fiction, we can only imagine things based on inspiration from the world around us. If you take away the psychic link, blueness and tallness you just have humans, who live in the jungle. There are plenty of them around.
If those people are depressed at Avatar not being real, they'd fucking kill themselves right out once they see the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. I came, the first time I saw that old lady's dream. So much shiny things
I'm depressed because I can't find a hi-res image of the RDA/ISV VentureStar.
I thought Michelle Rodriquez was so fine in the movie. I loved the sexy war paint she put on towards the end of the movie.
