You're just asking for a tar and feathering
All the wonderful jokes aside, this sounds pretty neat.
I mean, do you guys really want us back? Would it be worth it?
Then when they "disappear" in transit the US will have no choice but to become a colony again, it's the perfect plan
WE'LL NEVER LIVE UNDER THE TYRANNY OF RATHER FAIR AND MODERATE TAXES AGAIN YOU BLOODY REDCOAT.
Mr. Bean is going to be involved in this, somehow.
Corrected it for you.

Now or then?
The only Queen I will ever bow to is LADY LIBERTY!
Wait a minute, she's French?
Shit.

Take it from someone who lives in a country that's technically still part of the monarchy, there's no reason to be part of the monarchy.
I like how it's only being used to highlight how great THEIR document, the Magna Carta, is.
"Look at how the colonials only wrote this because we did the Magna Carta first."

Coming from the country that is the most removed from it.
Honestly I'm pretty sure most people in the US don't even know Canada is still under the queen.

In general, people in the US barely know anything at all about Canada.

All we know is you export hockey, syrup and an over abundance of kindness.
Thanks for giving us the bill of independence. It's ours now
lets dance  Brits
I'd be okay with British rule.
I mean it's better than the stupid fucks we have in office now, right?

I'm sure you're taking that statistic from the people who don't know the George Washington was our first president.
Spoiled L.A. brat who doesn't know anything outside of manicures =/= general population
They're just the vocal minority.
It belongs to history, everyone should at least know about it.
Just like everyone thinks the Nazi era is a taboo, but it's all history that belongs to humanity.

Nazi era is taboo? Shit, there are probably more games, movies and documentaries made about this timeperiod than any other time period.

If only that were true, my good colony terrorist

A lot of Americans don't know our capital, our prime minister, our largest city, etc.

Maybe ask your American friends about Canada, take a tally for us and let's get down to the bottom of it.

Replace American's and Canada with any other set of two countries and I'd think it's fair to say you'd get a similar response, I somehow doubt it's just Canada and I know I couldn't name those.

Yeah but we're neighbors, supposed to be best buds. Our economies are strongly linked, we speak the same language(s), lots of travel between the two countries.
Could a Dutchman name the capital of Belgium? Why can't a American name the capital of Canada?
It'll come back with "All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental." on the bottom of it.

Your thinking of the bible
It's about time they introduced some freedom to the UK

They also have plans to deal with an Alien invasion. They also had Operation Northwoods, where they planned to create false flag attacks and blame it on Cuba. I don't think having arbitrary contingency plans are cause for alarm.

No faxation without representation
"Whoops for some reason we also put the Magna Carta on the ship with the Declaration, which then mysteriously sank for absolutely no reason, God Save the Queen"
Finally. It's been a long time coming, lads, but it looks like FitzRobert's & FitzRobert's Fish-Weir Emporium is back in the game!
Now or then?
Now and then
