tell me the last time someone blew up a wall mart. now tell me what are the chances that someone who is going to blow up a wallmart gets caught because someone was realy looking. now tell me how many people are going to tell on some random guy who did nothing wrong but broke the crime of being the wrong skin color

Tell the last time you actually read a post you replied to.
I don't know what the local Walmart in your area looks like but here its loaded with morbidly obese people in their carts and white trash. I will spend the extra fifty cents and shop at normal stores.
I got the joke, it just wasn't overly funny.
"HURR FAT PEOPLE."

That's some hardcore generalization there.
why do people do things like this; does the thought not cross these people's minds at one point "wow, i don't fucking want to blow all of these people up and be imprisoned for the rest of my life, why would i ever do something like this"

then there just going to star blowing up places with even more people
I was going to refute this, but I doubt you'd take the time to read any of what I wrote.
If this is what I think it is for, it won't be used for that. All this does is if someone reports something suspicious, that data gets thrown into a giant algorithm that may lead to a suspected terrorist attack. It's not to waste cops time questioning random people.
and whats the terrorist going to say? that hes going to kill everyone in the store? of course not. having a cop talk to a guy will not stop him from blowing everyone up. the paranoia that this will cause if worse then the small amount of extra safety

Most people who things like this are either part of some extremely motivated political or religious group or are mentally sick.

It doesn't make me paranoid in the least. Why do you assume that just because Wal-Mart starts airing minute long PSA's at thirty minute intervals that all the sudden people will fly into paranoid hysteria and start calling the cops on their neighbors and hiding in their homes.
You need to be really dead to the world if this is how you assume people act.

how about you try it and see if i do or not

because people get paranoid every time something like this happens. just like how so many moms are scared of there child getting molested because they see it on the news. not to mention if someone really wanted to kill a bunch of people then the videos will not really help. they could use the time telling people something that could really save there life. like the health benefits of eating healthy of the dangers of tanning

imasillypiggy, I think you are a great person and all, but you need to read posts more clearly. I said this isn't for immediate threats. What this system does is take input from a lot of users, somehow separate the false fat lady's scared of the guys with beards, as you put it, in return a prediction of some sort of another terrorist attack.

yes I read and looked it up but it still almost useless because unless someone really does spot a bomb or notice that a guy in the store has like 3 charges of trying to kill white guys they cant really predict when someone decides to just go into a store and start shooting people
I don't get the point. It's as if they believe that this video will make people report suspicious activity. Wouldn't you already report it? And if you wouldn't, would a fucking video change your mind?
Reminds me of the "report suspicious activity" propaganda you see in authoritarian / totalitarian settings.
Fuck that.
This is Dr. Breen on estrogen.
Twice as ugly too.

Maybe because we are becoming a authoritarian / totalitarian setting
:D
