Time Person of the Year is nothing to get excited about. I mean, even I won it in 2006, so it's really nothing that special or anything :v:
Good for Obama, he deserves it.
he's the only one who cries for his country, even the native americans have given up crying. :(
Malala should have won.
I won in 1982 :3
I like Obama and all but it isn't very cool to give it to the same person twice, if you ask me.
Obama isn't that great. The only reason he won was because of his speeches and a bad opposing candidate. His second term hasn't been good in my eyes so far.
You and everyone who rates you agree are pretty dumb because his second term hasn't even started yet
Should have given it to PSY instead.
Could be worse and they could do Steve Jobs again. Regardless, a sad day for communism.
Or a great day for communism if youre republican
Obama isn't that great. The only reason he won was because of his speeches and a bad opposing candidate. His second term hasn't been good in my eyes so far.
Must you always post badly?
They should have given it to kim jong un jsut for the fuck of it because the prank initiative was so big. They would have sold assloads of magazine copies and it would have made a hilarious one-time issue.
Malala should have won.
absolutely
"He won re-election despite a higher unemployment rate than anybody's had to face in basically in 70 years."
Not exactly the greatest justification for the win is it?
Should've lived back in 1938, then: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Person_of_the_Year Just noticed that both Stalin and Hitler got the time's person of the year before Churchill. Actually it seems like all mayor leaders of the war got it.
Seems to me that whoever wins the US election is likely to be crowned Person of the Year for that year If Romney had won the election he'd more than likely be chosen PotY
Seems to me that whoever wins the US election is likely to be crowned Person of the Year for that year If Romney had won the election he'd more than likely be chosen PotY
To be fair, the President of the US is a pretty influential person.
To be fair, the President of the US is a pretty influential person.
Yeah but it's a cliche.
TIME person of the year is an opinion, so I say Ban Ki Moon wins in my magazine.
Exactly. He has nothing to worry about since he was re-elected. This is how he will act in his 'official second term'.
Every president reveals their true self in their second term.
Glorification of almost everything is a distinct USA thing. I don't see how you feel that's Stalinist. Russia doesn't glorify in the same sense. Unless USA=Russia. That's an intriguing thought. [editline]19th December 2012[/editline] A real Cro-Redneck ladies and gentlemen.
dont pay attention to laserguided; no one takes him seriously
Who gives a shit about Time? Let's have a Facepunch person of the year.
I love the guy but I don't think he's the Person of the Year.
Who gives a shit about Time? Let's have a Facepunch person of the year.
vote craptasket or die
Who gives a shit about Time? Let's have a Facepunch person of the year.
Garry person of the year every year
Leader of a terrorist state who only made a few well-written speeches is now the person of the year? Why?
Who gives a shit about Time? Let's have a Facepunch person of the year.
Smurfy.
