Jeez, overreacting a bit much? She has a really warped view of the world, but she does what she thinks is best for the country and it's people. To say she deserves suffering makes you just as bad as she is.
[editline]13th July 2017[/editline]
I agree she shouldn't be in any position of power, but to outright deny her even a shred of happiness for the rest of her life is just plain wrong.
Soulless individuals like Theresa May don't deserve any happiness for what they've done to the people who trusted her, and to everybody else who dislikes her useless outmoded way of thinking. If you're a self centred asshole, what goes around comes around.
I honestly think the tories can go fuck themselves and they've done a massive amount of harm for britain from what I've seen from here in america; however, there is a tad bit of edge in this thread with the uh, massive dehumanization. I'm sure that this is indeed just a sympathy ploy from May, but she is still, indeed, human, and not literally pure evil. Just a shitty greedy asshole human; but she still shits just like the rest of us. If she is indeed a narcissistic, psychocopathic person I don't think she deserves to be lynched -- maybe just given mental help.
I just generally dislike dehumanization of any kind, positive or negative, since it can lead to both exaggerating the evil qualities, the good qualities, or downplaying either or or vice/versa. Cults of personality (cough cough MAGA) do it too, just in the opposite way.

Doesn't matter that what she does is what she thinks is best because that's just mindless pathos.
What matters is that she and her party are doing the best they can to fuck over their country at the expense of the not rich classes
[editline]13th July 2017[/editline]
She deserves to be just as miserable as the people whose lives she has fucked over
She wasn't sad about the results, her wheat allergies just acted up after a naughty romp in the fields.
I like how there needs to be a headline for Theresa May showing any form of human emotion.

id have pity for her if she wasn't both in power and living incredibly comfortably at the expense of the taxpayer. she is reaping what she sowed. she made a power play and it blew up in her face and decimated the indomitable war machine created by the fall of Cameron.

No need to get so fucking hostile. My point was that she has her beliefs. I don't agree with them and I don't even ask you to respect her beliefs, but to wish someone depression for the rest of their lives is horrible. Even if it is her.

Isn't that tory party politics though. Make everyone who isn't rich miserable
It's just like people calling for Trump's assassination or whatever.
Not even close, one is an actionable threat, what Sky King said is at worst wishful thinking.
Anyhow, back on topic, I honestly wish someone found a way to get Theresa May out sooner rather than later. Not only for the myriad things that the Tories have done to damage the country and its public services, but because there's the very real threat of a hard Brexit going by how disastrous their negotiation team has been.

i've never seen you use any kind of actual thought or intelligent criticism, you just make incredibly overblown inflammatory views up and then argue against them, as youve done in this thread.

so because i want TM to fuck off out of office and i dont give a shit about how she feels about her own fuckups as a leader, i'm the same as people who want a man dead? right.. right.. right.. that's a fair equivalence, isn't it?
you wonder why i'm so hostile when you compare me to people crying for murder???? pull the other one, mate, it's got bells on.
I mean I sure as fuck won't shed a tear for one of the most malicious politicians in recent times
This thread is a perfect example of why I can't be arsed to post in Polidicks any more (and on social media more broadly).
A lot the time it's not worth stepping into the piss hurricane to voice my opinion.
I'm going to on this occasion because I thought the way everyone jumped on the one moderating voice was pretty grim.
I have a lot of respect for Tory MPs like Robert Halfon, Ken Clarke and Johnny Mercer (amongst others) - none of which can really be called 'elitist scum'.
I mean I dislike the Conservative's policies as much as you guys but calling them all evil, 'elitist scum' is excessive.

I mean, every single MP you've posted is against a lot of the party's policy, the agenda that is being pushed by Theresa May. If you only have respect for the outliers of the party then you probably don't actually support that party's policy.
What's wrong with calling them elitist scum? How is the rest of the Tory party not exactly that? How is Theresa May specifically, not an elitist? What has she done to help lower classes?

I'm sure they're nice blokes, but they vote for the Tory parties shitty policies. Why should I respect them when they happily fuck over the most vulnerable people in this country.
I'm sure they're nice blokes, but they vote for the Tory parties shitty policies. Why should I respect them when they happily fuck over the most vulnerable people in this country.
One of my biggest lessons over the last two elections is that the 'killing the vulnerable' line simply doesn't work in political discussion. More often than not it alienates the opposition from being involves in case they are considered bad people. They don't want that on their shoulders.
More often than not, I find that people that vote Conservatives are looking out for their bottom line. Bringing the effect of Conservative policies on the poor and disabled up as a political point makes them feel uneasy, shut down and go on the defensive. You can be sure after that point you won't get any further with them.
I find the best things to bring up are how the Conservatives consistently fuck up on the economy and how austerity simply isn't working. Points like the fact that they have no costed manifesto, while Labour do, really rattle the Conservatives' cages.

Well you started with a full blown capslock paragraph before I had even made any comparison, so I don't think that's got anything to do with it.
I too want Theresa May out of the office. It's not that you want her just out of the office, you want the rest of her life to be miserable.
It's easy to just flame someone else, but how about actually calming down? No one's going to take you serious like that. I don't, and I doubt any political leaders would either.

It's funny before the election everybody was quite chilled out, perhaps because they all thought Corbyn was going to lose, so there was no point in trying?
Post-election the community has become much larger and a lot less calm.
This could end very badly

Mainly because people were pissed at how our Government are dealing with things, just a middle finger to them voting labour. Plus who knows, labour might have been able to salvage some of this wreck
I also think that just shit flinging at all tories is stupid, it's like saying all of "X" are idiots because a few are

The tories are actually a party united by a particular ideology though?
Like have I missed something where the tory MPs suddenly aren't voting the party line? I think it's fair to call someone elitist scum if they support elitist scum policy; I don't think that's an unfounded generalisation at all.

stand under a flag and you'll get splashed by any shit flung at it. and that's your fault for standing under a flag. you do not understand the amount of shit i regularly get from tory boys about being a labour voter. but apparently it's fair because they're in power and labour isn't.

Basically this.
It's not even a generalisation, we aren't judging the many for the actions of the few- The Tory party is objectively the nasty party- and they push nasty policy. Have a look at their voting records, watch them in the PMQs, read their past and current manifestos.
It wasn't ~a few~ Tories voting against gay marriage it was literally more than half the party.
It wasn't just a few trouble makers jeering and whooping as they froze the pay of our emergency services once again, it was their entire half of the room.
It's not just a few complete bastards that think £30 a week to live on is too good for disabled people- it's the vast majority of the party.
It wasn't one or two landlords in the party who shot down a law that required homes to be fit for human habitation prior to being rented out, the number was in the hundreds.
If anything it would be wrong to give the rest of them the benefit of the doubt just because one or two of them aren't complete bastards.

Wishing a politican to be sad and feel bad for fucking over millions of people that are struggling to survive in a 1st world country is not the same as calling for murder.
Get off your fucking high horse.
