Tommy Wiseau should play batman

But I suggested he play Mr. Freeze.
Michael Cera as Mister Freeze please.

Jesse Eisenberg's "confident" acting. Can't wait.
He still sounds like he's about to cry any second now
Not the first weird choice someone has made for a Batman movie. Had Tim Burton stayed on for Batman 3 instead of Joel Schumacher, he would have cast Marlon Wayans as Robin.
I'm not even fucking jokIng.
Also, Jeremy Irons as Alfred? Yes, please.
Terry Crews as Louis Lane
I'm surprised no one has posted this yet.

Honestly if he looked older and his voice was a bit deeper this would be Luthor as fuck.
Adam Sandler as Batman.
Will Ferrel as Superman.
I'd watch that.

The entire thing behind Lex Luthor is that he's a megalomaniac that is one step ahead of everyone else which is the way Zuckerberg was written in the Social Network.
Give the guy a fucking chance before flipping your shit, this movie is a lot more grim then your previous incarnations.
He will be a good guy until Superman causes some kind of accident to make him lose his hair.
And then he'll steal forty cakes.
That's as much as four tens. And that's terrible.
Anyways, I don't know if I've ever seen Jesse Eisenberg in anything, so I really can't judge this choice in casting... but would it really hurt them to just shave Clancy Brown's head and make HIM Lex Luthor again? He was the perfect Luthor in the DCAU, I'm sure he could pull off a live-action Luthor just as well...

At least I can see Jeremy Irons as Alfred. I can't be too sure about Jesse Eisenberg, but zi shall remain cautiously optimistic.
Angry Joe's on Jesse Eisenberg

David Spade as Flash
Maybe I'm just too used to the cartoon persona of Luthor...the darker-skinned, more "mature" type.
I don't understand everyone's dealio. Eisenberg was fucking great in the Social Network. Glad he's getting work.

Nobody is claiming he's a bad actor, he is however unsuited to the role of Lex Luthor.
oprah winfrey as darkseid
Hopefully they don't make Eisenberg's Lex Luthor a fast-paced and openly analytical version (ie; matching Eisenberg's typical on-screen personas). Because that would be very annoying. Almost as annoying as Hipster-Q in Skyfall.
I swear, after I watch the movie and all the awesomeness it holds, I'm gonna come back to this thread and quote all you pessimistic fuckers. Jeez, you guys are being so negatively judgmental.
I wish Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg would just go ahead and admit they're the same person.
You guys aren't fooling anyone, you know.
Imagine if when we first see Lex, he seems bumbling and harmless. Nobody pays him much attention. Superman thinks he seems like a nice enough guy, Batman sees him as someone he could eat for breakfast in the boardroom. But then, when the bodies are piling up, when Metropolis and Gotham are in flames, when Superman and Batman have been wasting time fighting each other, thinking them selves as eacth other enemies, when victory is all but lost, they look up and see this little shit grinning down at them.
This is basically what I think they might be aiming for, and I'm not sure if I love it or not.

What if the movie is extremely bad?
I'm not trying to be pessimistic with the above or anything, just, who knows what'll happen.

Batman could fuck superman up too
but this is because he is always prepared, even when fighting against what is basically a god.
I think it makes sense honestly.
They don't want an old Lex. Lex and Supes are supposed to be similar ages in this new universe, so having Cavill and Eisenberg makes sense. Eisenberg may not be super intimidating but he can totally play a genius, and he can totally play a arrogant ass. I think he's going to do fine.
Someone else said it first but it's true. The biggest problem this film faces isn't casting. It's the god damn shitty script that may be building behind closed doors.

It's just going to be weird pitching a fresh batman who's capable of going toe to toe with supes unless he's got a hold of a serious amount of kyrptonite or some shit.
I'd love to see like Frank Millers version of that fight, but I doubt they'll go that direction.
macaulay culkin as bane

Which is why I hope Chris Terrio is good enough to produce a script that isn't plagued by a billion problems. As for young Luthor, we've had the 'Lex is similar in age to Superman' all throughout the 50s til the Crisis. He's been back ever since Birthright so a young Lex Luthor is completely viable.
But noooo for Frank Miller. The man used to be a great Batman writer but he was never a good Superman writer. The last thing the Cavillman needs is Miller's interpretation of Superman.
Speaking of Bane, his voice in Dark Knight Rises does remind me of Deckard Cain, who in turn was originally voice-acted by a guy called Michael Gough. But apparently the Cain Gough is a different guy entirely to the Michael Gough we remember as Alfred from the 90's films.
Strange series of connections there, even if there were two entirely different Michael Goughs about, since 90's Alfred back around the turn of the decade.
I think Clancy Brown should've played Lex Luthor. They could've just put ridiculous amounts of make up on him to make him look younger and it would've been perfect. Mostly because Clancy Brown is the voice of Lex Luthor to me.
