My god, Jeremy Irons. I am scared.
Here, i can choose your cast better.
Densel Washington as Lex Luthor. (Training Day anyone?)
Geoffrey Rush as Alfred.
Geoffrey Rush as Alfred.
oh hell yes
I've got this to a T they're going the birthright route with lex i think personally,
Here's my theory:
They'll do a flashback to when lex and clark were sort of friends at school like in Birthright,

as highlighted here
then i imagine they'll bring someone older to play luthor in present day, the difference in appearance ( spoilers here if you haven't read birthright ) could be explained by what happened in the novel, Lex was messing around in his lab which exploded and then he disappeared which is how he lost his hair, this could be done in the film and they could say he had to have facial reconstructive surgery which would explain the difference in appearance, also lex was aware of kryptonians or aliens to some degree before clark became superman, which could explain lex's silence during the first film as he could have been experimenting or discovering a way to kill the kryptonians in secret, possibly the kryptonite relic, but in any case batman becomes aware lex is experimenting which leads him to possibly intervene in supermans affairs, plus lex's research into aliens could be a good way to introduce metallo if he did indeed find a kryponite relic ( puts it in metallo after working out it hurts superman ) and possibly the discovery of brainiac ( wishful thinking ) ala the phantom zone projector he had in birthright mixed with the phatom zone portal used in the films ( brainiac could have been in there ) or possibly even a justice league precursor in the ending with darkseid being mentioned, offering to help lex "bring down the alien" or something.
few more birthright pics i highly recommend it

- i found this one particularly relevant for an explanation of lex's absence in MoS

I honestly hope they'll go for war hero/ex-mercenary badass Alfred from Batman: Earth One. That's something fresh, and that's something I can see Jeremy Irons playing brilliantly.

I quite liked the Alfred from Beware the Batman. Sort of an ex-SAS man who's almost as bad ass as Batman when he needs to be.
Quentin Tarantino as Quentin Tarantino.
I was gonna say Tarantino as Talia.

I read that as "jesse heisenberg" and got extremely confused
kathy griffin would make ultimate harley quinn
Might as well get Aziz Ansari to play The Joker while they're at it.
holy fuck that would be amazing
I don't think height will be a problem, this is a film and they have tricks to make people look taller
Robert Downey Jr. wore huge high-heeled boots for every MCU movie because he's shorter than Gwyneth Paltrow and significantly shorter than Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans.
Honestly, wait until it comes out, or you'll be just like one of the people who thought Heath Ledger's Joker would be terrible.
It's Kojima
I would so watch a movie starring Kojima as a superhero.
Only if Kamiya plays the villain and Miamoto is a love interest.

I think his voice might be more of a problem than anything. That or they need to take the type of dialogue from his performances in The Social Network and Now You See Me and really step it up a notch.
tbh if you shaved him bald he definitely looks like a villain
