Are Americans always like this when you try to change anything? Is there always this "fuck you it works fine for me" attitude?
It makes sense don't you think? I mean, why spend a lot of money to change something that doesn't have a problem?
It makes sense don't you think? I mean, why spend a lot of money to change something that doesn't have a problem?
That makes tons of sense you opened my eyes.
If this happens, then all of those fat kids with big shirts with dollars on them will have nothing to wear.
It makes sense don't you think? I mean, why spend a lot of money to change something that doesn't have a problem?
Perhaps these new bills would reduce counterfeiters?
Perhaps these new bills would reduce counterfeiters?
Is it truly a problem now? I mean if it is then go ahead
The government isn't gonna make a change just for cosmetic reasons, don't be silly.
The government isn't gonna make a change just for cosmetic reasons, don't be silly.
...But, wait. You're arguing for changing the money, but you said they wouldn't change it if it was only cosmetic, when all it would be is a cosmetic change? That doesn't make sense. [editline]11:00PM[/editline]
Dear Doomish, What do we do with out of circulation money now? We use it or collect it Love, Tetracycline
Yeah but we're talking MILLIONS of one dollar bills that will never and can never be used again because they suddenly stop being legal currency one day due to a facelift. That just wouldn't work, people would be outraged.

They're not doing anything right now [editline]09:10PM[/editline] and rightly so.
Finally finished my design!
Paper tender is shit. I hate the feel of it, 50 years from now paper tender will be obsolite and majoirty of transactions will be electronic.
I think Bill Clinton should be on our currency, a coin at least.
It makes sense don't you think? I mean, why spend a lot of money to change something that doesn't have a problem?
metric system
metric system
People in everyday life don't use it, and that's different, it gets rid of a lot of problems where changing money would get rid of well, counterfeiting but that's about it
Finally finished my design! [img_thumb]http://i53.tinypic.com/2chk06.png[/img_thumb]
not colorful or vertical enough
People in everyday life don't use it, and that's different, it gets rid of a lot of problems where changing money would get rid of well, counterfeiting but that's about it
Metric system would make a lot of things easier. We should use it. I mean we could keep the roads in Miles because that's what everyone is use to, just have everything else in Metric. Everyone who's not a retard should have learned it in grade school.

At least it gets rid of god bless america. Now everyone can finally shut up about it.
All my foreign professors use metric, I use metric for some reason, a lot of people use meters. Seriously metric is the way to go.
Those are pretty ugly in my opinion, OP.
I think that $1 bill with George Washington on it looks kind of cool. Also, the red 50 looks awesome as well.
We should have a diagonal design.

I made my own $1 bill design. I was inspired. It doesn't look anything close to a real dollar bill, but I gave it a shot at a more modern type.
I think Bill Clinton should be on our currency, a coin at least.
He really truly should, even if its just a limited mint coin.
It was the head of the Soviet Union.
Name me 3 policies that made the Soviet union communist.
You're right, mannn! We're all just a freakin numberr!!
Not really, it's just how the theory works. [editline]12:18PM[/editline]
It makes sense don't you think? I mean, why spend a lot of money to change something that doesn't have a problem?
Society needs updating.
Looks like a game of Trivial Pursuit.
If this happens, then all of those fat kids with big shirts with dollars on them will have nothing to wear.
Don't try to sway me... [editline]07:55AM[/editline]
Perhaps these new bills would reduce counterfeiters?
By simplifying the design?
Maybe there's some new technology in these bills? [editline]07:08AM[/editline] this is all hypothetical since the redesign project isn't even connected to the government.
